Any suggestions for eating in Downtown Disney? Coupons? Restaurant.com certificates?

We have spent so much already and looking to cut costs.

*Some* of the restaurants will give 10-20% off lunch to AAA or DVC members.

Will you have a car? Keep an eye on my restaurant coupons thread--I mail coupons for local restaurants out every week to someone who will be headed to WDW in the next two-three weeks who can use them. They are for off-site restaurants and this weeks coupons including Red Lobster, Chevy's, Bahama Breeze, and more.

Get your name on the list for the week you will be going.

Earl of Sandwich is good and cheap! It's one of my favorite stops and I always try to eat there twice!:goodvibes

Earl of Sandwich 4.95 for a excellent sandwich plus 1.00 for a bag of chips. Can't beat that..

I belong to my points and I always use my points to get restuaurant giftcards for my vacations. I always get at $50.00 at RFC, free meals always help the budget.

Earl of Sandwich!!! Most reasonable place to eat. My kids saw it on the food network and we HAD to go. We were pleasantly surprised and ate their twice on our trip! Can't wait to go back! :)

LOVE LOVE LOVE Earl of Sandwich!!! Ate there quite a few times this past trip!! Just be prepared for a long line at certain times during the day! Oh and they take the Disney gift cards too!:goodvibes

Yup. My DS and I just ate there on our trip. We went to DTD the first night and I didn't want to drop $100 on dinner so we had sandwiches at Earl of Sandwich and my other DS and DD had McDonald's. Pretty cheap meal that night. Earl of Sandwich was very good. The line seemed really long but moved very fast.

Another vote for Earl of Sandwich!!!!! Try their tomatoe soup:goodvibes , it is the very best I have ever had and I bragged about is so much my DD's had to try it and are now loving tomatoe soup!!!!!! We have an Earl about 45 -50 min. from us and whenever we are in the area we have to make a stop!!!!! It is wonderful and cheap!!!!!!! Nice enviroment too especially when the weather is good and you can sit outside!!!!!!

EARL OF SANDWICH! DH and I split a sandwich and Chinese Chicken Salad. I always get a soup or 2 for my kids as something else to add to their meal...very cheap. I think soup is like $1.35. :thumbsup2

Earl of Sandwich!!! They have the best BLTs!! Wish I had one now!

I also think the tomato soup is awesome!! My personal favorite is The Frenchy(I think is its name). God, I could go for a sandwich right about now!

We had a great meal and not too expensive at Wolfgang Puck's Express during our last visit.

Where is the restaurant coupons thread? I tried searching for it, but I keep getting an error!

We always go to the Bongo's walk-up window and get empanadas for about $1.25 each, and we think they're very good!

We stayed at the Grosvenor earlier this week and were given a little booklet for Downtown Disney that had some coupons in it when we checked in. If you're staying at one of the Downtown hotels, ask for it

There was a coupon for 6 free wings at Buffalo Wild Wings that we used (BWW is at Crossroads, not far from Downtown Disney) and another one for Uno's that we didn't, but I think it was $5 off a 20 order. Not the most exotic food while on vacation, but we do like the Wild Wings! :)

There was also a decent looking deli case at Goodings Market- we picked up a box of pastry for snacks and would have picked up some cereal and juice for breakfast for a longer stay. I think they had the rotisserie chickens as well.

Another vote for the Earl. It's great! The sandwiches are filling and it's a nice change from the burgers and chicken at the parks.
