Has anyone tried this? I have been using it and it is great. My energy level is very high and I feel great. Because I have not totally swapped over to it totally, my weight loss has been slow.
Not to mention the trip to Disney did not help. :)
When I first read the book, I thought it bunk, but, the more I read the more sense it made.
My goal is to lose about 30# I have lost about 10# in the past month and a half.

I haven't heard about this. Can you explain how it works?

I've never heard of this. Looks like an interesting read, Gail, thanks for the links.

I have seen things on this before and seems like someone was on Oprah years ago. It is interesting and I did consider it several years ago but since I am type A I would starve to death since I am supposed to be vegetarian!! There are not very many veggies that I can or will eat!!

I hope you do well on this. Seems to make alot of sense though.

Well, there are some meats you can eat. I am not particulary fond of meat and love veggies, so, this is sort of easy for me.

I have heard of this diet before but being a Type O it is not do-able for me, since the #1 rule is eat meat and I am a vegetarian. Can I trade with you mum4jenn?

Gail, will you be taking the challenge and joining us here on WISH? We have a great support group here.

Well, it is certainly working for me (without knowing about it)! I am type A and have found that the only way that I feel healthy and am at a decently low weight is to be a vegetarian. Plus, it helps that I ADORE the food, CRAVE the food and HATE meat (except haddock WITHOUT any bones, lol)... I never could stand the "crunchies" in chicken, the "grizzle" in beef, and stupid bones in fish... so I guess I really am "eating for my blood type".

Works for me! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

I think I need to learn about the challenge first. :)

I have a friend that is very conscientious about eating for his blood type. He visited an Endocrinologist that first told him about it. Then his kenisiologist (sp?) backed it up for him. He says when he follows his diet, he feels great!

I completely agree. I cheated, I ate steak on Sunday and talk about being loggy (sp?). We won't do that again. :) I remember that before I met Dee, I was doing a low fat diet, which pretty much eliminates meat, and I felt great, lost 20# (but, still doing a one day off the diet as a reward to myself).
Then I met Dee, the carnavore. :) He is a type O+ and is supposed to eat meat. Figures. This is slow as I have to shift away from 8 years of non healthy for me eating habits, but, it is working, S L O W L Y. Things come to those who wait.

I'm in shape, round is a shape. Right? :)
