I don't like to eat park food every day so if it is Studio accommodations and we have a car, we pick up a rotiserrie chicken from Publix or Winn Dixie, add a bag of frozen/steam microwave vegies. Get a bag of frozen meatballs, cook in the microwave and add Ragu and some rolls and you have meatball subs. If you want something more substantial, I like the already mashed potatoes and the Hormel Pot Roast, Heat & Serve, it feeds 4. Uncle Ben's already cooked rice pouches to heat in the microwave, they really are quite good and only take 5 minutes. Publix quiche warmed in the microwave with fruit or regular salad makes a great lunch or breakfast.
The possibilities are endless, and if you don't have car, you can even have your groceries delivered, at a cost of course. (gardengrocer.com)
It's easier if you have a 1 bedroom but I still don't want to be a slave to the stove either, I'm on vacation too! This Summer there will be 11 of us, and yes I'm bringing my crock pot!
Let us know after your trip how it went, have fun!
