Hi,

I may be going mad but I'm sure a couple of years ago there was a book about healthy eating at Disney. I have jut done a search on amazon .co.uk but can't find it - can anyone help.

Thanks

Sue

Was this it?
amazon.com/Healthy-Guide-Walt-Disney-World/dp/1432732501

And apologies, I am still too new to post links, so I couldn't add the full url. I tried spaces, but even that didn't work.

Thanks that was the one - although now reading the US reviews maybe it is not such a good book. DD is a vegetarian and really watches what she eats and I had thought maybe this would be a good book (based on half remembered threads).

thanks for the quick answer.

No problem!

I don't know how much it will help or if this is a total newbie comment, but I really found the menus over at allears.net to be great and current when we were trying to plan meals around food allergies. It's a little bit of leg work since there are so many places to eat, but we were able to accommodate everyone in my group's needs.

It won't help a lot with planning ahead, but I noticed this weekend people asking to speak to the chef to address dietary concerns. I noticed this at both table service and quick service. So, maybe you can narrow things down and then speak with the chef to request vegetarian substitutions.

I would check out this: http://allears.net/din/special.htm There is a lot of great information on special diets. Also you will probably get the most accurate and up to date information right here on the DISboards. I would do a search on our Disney Restaurants board and ask any questions you have there about what to expect. We have a lot of vegetarians on the boards and I am sure there are so Vegetarian Dining reviews over there and plenty of of people that can help you. Our site wdwinfo.com and also allearsnet.com have the menus for every restaurant so you can look them over and do some advance planning.
