I know there are threads devoted to drink your way around the WS. There has to be one about eating your way around it.
I need help developing a touring plan designed around making a stop in most countries for a small taste.
We plan to arrive at park opening on a non_EMH's day after having breakfast in the room. We'll do FW (soaring, test track, imagination) then can make our way to WS soon after it opens. I'd like to stick to counter serve locations all day.
France would be a hit for "brunch", but I've skipped UK and how do you do a swarma in Morocco after a chocolate croissant?

Come on DIS experts - teach me right!

TIA!
Mrs D

To pick out what you eat where, you really need to look at the counterservice menus at http://allears.net/menu/menus.htm#epc or http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/dininglist.cfm (Search by location - Epcot)

I won't share my favorites - everyone here has different favorites and they're all taste good to them.

I will advise you on how to make it around WS.

My mom, husband, sister, 2 young sons and I started in Mexico. We stopped there, Germany, American, Morocco, and France.

We got a plate of whatever sounded interesting to us in each country. We sat together and split that entire entree among all of us which made it more like a sample of each country, and we had plenty of room for dessert in France (and even a pretzel and slushie on the way out the door)

It was one of our best memories of the trip!

DH and I are planning to drink and eat our way around WS in February. Where is the thread for drinks? Also would be interested in some of the best foods to try.
:yay: :yay:

Share entrees and snacks! I didn't realize how much food it was. The only hiccup is Canada as they are lacking in CS locations and took out the Beavertails a couple years ago. If anyone has a solution for Canada please let me know!

You might enjoy different foods but here is what we did- all shared between 2-3 people:

Mexico: Combo platter
Norway: waffle
Italy: Cannoli
China: 2 eggrolls
Germany: Apple streudel (brought back to the room for later, we were too full)
USA: hotdog
Japan: Kaki Gori
Morocco: Baklava
France: peach tart
UK: Harry Ramsden's fish and chips
Canada: ????

It was a nice combination of meal stuff and snack/dessert stuff. I should also add that we are unadventurous eaters so things like the Schwama platter was not for us.
