We have been to 4 Eat to the Beat concerts in the past couple of years. If you want to be right in the middle centre then you have to line up. We arrive just as its starting and still loads of seats available, it really is only the middle centre that fills. Even though they only perform around 30 mins people come and go throughout.
Last year Sister sledge & The Manhattan Transfer were both really good, Wilson Phillips not so good but I had never heard of them and didn't know any of their music.
Year before Howard Jones was excellent.

Just looked at this years line up, were are there for these but no Disney tickets once our AP's expire in July :headache:
•Sept 19-21 – Jo Dee Messina
•Sept. 22-23 – The Pointer Sisters
•Sept. 24-25 – Rick Springfield
•Sept. 26-27 – Christopher Cross

Oh no aren't you going to renew?

We are hoping to see David Cook as my wife and I are fans cannot believe we had already planned to be in Epcot that day and its our wedding anniversary.

You have to make the line if you want to get the best seats up near the stage. The first show is always the most crowded and many people, especially Florida locals might be in line 3-4 hours before the first show for the more popular groups. So if you want to get the closest seats the 2nd and 3rd shows are your best bet.WWW.WDWENT.com has the acts listed usually before Disney, just go to the site and click on Epcot.

No, had AP's or Disney tickets every trip (33 of them?) since 1993 but once they expire after our July trip we are doing more things away from Disney. We will still have SW & BGs AP's.
We did a roadtrip last Easter from Miami down to Key West, upto Everglades, West coast then onto Orlando. Enjoyed it so much we want to do more roadtrips. Next year looking at New Orleans, Memphis area, not sure yet but Disney has just got a little pricey for me. Maybe I will feel different after a year or two.

Every concert we see people lining up for ages, we arrive just as the performance starts and get sat just behind them. Its not a massive theatre so any seat is good, Never understood the lining up for it. Saying that I doubt we have ever been to the first showing, more likely to hit the last.

I know what you mean we are starting to do other parts of the USA too.
Last year we did San Francisco, Yosemite national park, Monterey and Carmel. Loved every minute of it San Francisco is just a fantastic city and as part of our Florida trip this year we are driving up to Savannah Georgia and visiting some friends and exploring.

We have been to the West Coast twice but still not as far north as San Fran, its on our list.:goodvibes

About 4 years ago we drove upto Savannah, GA just for the day. We have a friend who lives in North Carolina so Savannah was a half way meeting point. Had a great day there but a long way to go in the day, we set off about 7am got back about 2am.

Wow that was a long day

At least we will be spending a few days so won't be so bad.

We saw Air Supply a few times in 2012, they are doing Sept 30th to Oct 2nd this year - well worth a watch!

I don't know about other performers but as they did 3 sets per night they sang a slightly different set list for each one. We didn't know about 'eat to the beat' concerts until after we had booked but we had grown up listening to Air Supply (my mum is a big fan!) so it was nice to see them perform for free :)
