Eat to the Beat??

We will be at EPCOT during the Food & Wine Festival. I noticed the Eat to the Beat Concert series. Do you have to make reservation at the American Gardens Theater to see this? My wife and I would really like to see Billy Ocean.

No you don't have to make a reservation you just go there. Some stand in line early to get seats right in the front but we've just shown up 20 min before it starts and still got good seats. That place holds a lot of people. I can't remember who we saw the first time but people were lined up an hour and half before it started. There was no way I was going to stand there that long so we left and came back about 15 minutes before it started and there was still plenty of room. I guess if you want to be down in front you'll have to get there early. I think there's usually 3 or 4 shows a day (40 min or so).

No reservations,they're free with EPCOT admission.For the most popular groups you'll have many people in line as early as 3pm or earlier for the first show which is usually at 5:15pm,so the first show tends the be the most crowded.The later shows are at 6:30 and 7:45pm.It's true that the theater does hold a lot of people but there have been groups that fill it up, for example I remember seeing the Beach Boys one day and people were waiting at 2pm and by 4:45 or so the line went into Italy then snaked back into the American pavillion and snaked back to reach Germany,there's no way the people near the end got in,then the next day the Family Stone was there,we walked into the theater about 15 minutes before the first show and got decent seats.

One of the many things I like about F&W - I just realized we'll be there again for it this year! Forgot all about it because of a GG. Look out beer & wine, here I come!!!!!!! Gotta see who's performing then.......
