1) Many people buy an Epcot dinner and pay extra for reserved seating at Eat-to-the-Beat concerts.
2) But, it is not always needed . . . neither the dinner nor the extra cost.
3) Disney has The American Music Machine performing at the theater on select days.
. . . they are an acapella group
. . . they do a 15-18 minute VERY CLEVER routine
. . . the shows are at 3:45p and 5:00p
. . . there is no cost or other requirement to see the show . . . and no lines
. . . they have 3-4 rows of reserved seating for Disney/Chase cardholders
. . . all other seats are open seating
4) Once you are seated for the show, you do not exit for the first Eat-to-the-Beat show
5) We sat 3rd-Row, center for the music, and did not have to move or leave for the Starship Performance.
. . . no one seated for this show had to move when others were let in for Starship
. . . regardless where folks we sitting, they stayed seated
6) While others waited in line, we sat patiently waiting for the rock music.
7) A nice way to save A LOT of money and standing in waiting lines
8) Look at the show times on the kiosk at the theater or Times Schedule Sheet.
NOTE: This works for the 1st show, since there is no time to empty the theater for the headliners and get those in line to be seated. After the first show, people are forced to leave the theater for the next showtime.
EDIT (9/19/16): I said you don't have to give up your seat, but that does not include you sitting in a Handicap Seat. If needed, you would have to move from that seat. Sorry for not mentioning this.
