Is this in an area where you can walk by and see the bands, or at least hear the music? I don't think our 2 year old would want to sit down for the whole thing, but if we could hear the bands while walking around, I'd be happy.

Yes. They are held in the America Gardens Theatre which is on the World Showcase Lagoon in front of the American Adventure.

The American Gardens Theatre is an open air venue and you can hear and even see (though not very well) all of the shows from the American Adventure pavilion area. These aren’t hard ticket events so you can usually walk right in and a grab a seat and just leave whenever your 2 year old gets antsy.

This is great to know! I didn't want to interrupt everyone around us if we had to leave, so it will be nice to grab a seat in the back, if even for a few minutes.

There are many people up and down during the performances so sitting down and then leaving will not be a problem at all.

Also, food and drink are permitted inside the theatre so getting your little one (or yourselves) a snack beforehand is fine as well.
