Eat to the Beat packages?

The lack of availability for Epcot restaurants (specifically Via Napoli) is astounding. I know I'm planning "last minute" by Disney standards, but through checking occasionally I've found multiple BOG, CRT, pre-park opening CP options. No such luck with Via Napoli and availability seems terrible overall for Epcot. I see that they did Eat to the Beat packages last year for most of the restaurants... Does anyone know if reservation times are being held back for these dining packages, or is Via Napoli really supposed to be harder to get into than CRT?

there have been a couple of posts about Epcot restaurants waiting until Eat to the Beat and the Candlelight Procession is announced. I'm still looking for the Coral Reef, it will happen, just have to keep looking...

FYI, just checked, Via Napoli has 8:30 on 11/17 for a party of 7...

When was it announced/released last year? I am thinking I read it was in July or maybe August. Does that sound correct?

I think it was late July...not positive on that, but FYI I just found a decent amount of availability, i.e. a good number of slots opened up for my dates. So if you're looking for something still, check asap! Hope this helps someone!

Last year, the details on the Food & Wine Festival special events, seminars, etc. were released on July 23. If you were a DVC member or had an annual pass, you could begin to make reservations for some events on 7/25, Disney Visa cardholders were able to make reservations for some events on July 30, and everyone else could make reservations starting on July 31.

The festival was moved back one week in 2014 so event details were released earlier than usual. For 2015, the festival start date has been pushed back a week so the release date could be later.
