Eat till we Explode, Shop till We Drop, No Time for Sleep April 10-18 PTR 3/27 Update

Hello, this is my first PTR, which will turn into my first TR. I've changed my title yet again, as I feel like I've been talking to myself for the most part, maybe this will attract more readers. And, the title says it all, we have tons of dining reservations, I LOVE to shop, and I think I may have too much planned for our trip.

I also started a PFR (Pre Food Report) over on the dining board but I will be including my food porn in my TR as well, for those who are interested!

So DH and I are going to WDW April 10th-18th, this will be our 4th time going to The World together, we also went to DL last October. We own DVC so we will be staying in a studio at BLT, and doing the DxDP!

My Disney obsession started with our first trip together at Thanksgiving 2007. DH is even addicted to WDW, I am one lucky girl!

Heres a picture of us from our 2008 Disneymoon, I don't think I have anymore recent ones of both of us together.

A little about us...

Me(Cassie) 22- I LOVE Disney (obviously) my favorite characters are Mickey and Bambi. Self proclaimed shopoholic, and obsessive planner. My favorite part of going to Disney is the music, the atmosphere in general and of course the food. I do all the planning of our trips, DH is too busy.

DH(Ryan) 23- Just started to love Disney, I think he mostly goes for the food, and the thrill rides. He loves RnR and ToT. Loves his vacations, he works hard all the other days of the year.

So we are doing three tours this trip that we have never done before, Keys to the Kingdom, Undiscovered Future World, and Behind the Seeds. I am so excited for these!

We are also trying a bunch of new restaurants, as well as some old favorites.

Only 27 days left until we're off!

So its been raining here in Mass. non stop. I feel like maybe I should start building a boat soon. The basement is flooded along with most of the roads. So with not much else to do, I've been doing alot of ebay shopping. Probably too much. First I bought a koozie for my waterbottle.

Then I bought a notebook and pens to keep notes for my TR.

And I bought this cute watch to keep in my bag, since I can't stand wearing watches.

It only cost $4 so it will probably only last for the trip and that will be it but for $4 I figured what the heck. Oh and that reminds me of the other thing I forgot to mention, DH and I both have iphones that we are obsessed with. Like an unhealthy obsession, so I decided that since we are on vacation we will not be bringing our cell phones to the parks with us. They will stay in the room for emergencies only. I'm also trying to bring no other technology with us, we need a bit of a vacation from it all. Not that I don't love the disboards!

Ok so enough of that rant...heres a picture of my new bagallini that I plan to carry. I love it, it's giraffe print!

And then I bought this little case to put my room key, ID, money, etc in.

And knowing me, there will probably be plenty more to buy. Later, I will post pictures of some of the pins I bought on ebay too.

I know, in our part of the state we're getting snow right now! This is some kind of cruel joke. Hoping we both have good weather in April!

Just a small update, I just registerd DH for the 2011 DisneyWorld 1/2 Marathon. He's been wanting to do this and I kept telling him that we are going in November and January was just too soon. But I signed him up and paid the $135 registration fee tonight. He's so excited! However, he may be just going by himself for the weekend, Jan 7-9th, we will have to see if I can get the time off or not. I told him if I can't go that he just needs to take plenty of pictures for me!

So I talked to my boss today and I can get the time off in January! We're going to be staying at AKL Savannah view for 3 nights Jan 6-9! So excited. Now DH is trying to convince me to do the 1/2 Marathon with him, I'm not sold on that idea yet. That's three trips within the next year. Good thing we are upgrading our tickets to AP's in April.

Thanks for the comments, just wait till you see how much I buy when we get the Disney! I just can't stop myself from buying a ton of things. I collect Jim Shore figures so I buy at least one of those every trip.

So...I figured I would post some pictures of my Disney collections. Our pins and the Jim Shore figurines. I also have a ton of Mickey stuff. In fact I have a whole Mickey Mouse room, but I haven't taken pictures of that yet. Here are all our pins. I usually don't bring any to the parks, I guess I'm a little weird I just buy all the ones that I want and never bother trading. Am I the only one who does this?

22 days left! We have a ride to the airport too, DH just call my MIL and she's driving us to and from the airport so were saving the $130 it would cost to park at Logan. I'm also very excited that we are flying Jet Blue this trip, love having the TVs to keep me occupied! Plus we don't have to pay for our luggage. Speaking of luggage, Im completely packed lol. Oh and I picked this up to spot my luggage when we get back to Boston...

and I got a red one for DH

Tonight DH and I are going to a hibachi Japanese Steakhouse. It will hold us off until we get to go to Teppan Edo! I might take pictures, though I feel weird taking pictures of my food anywhere else but WDW.

I totally agree with you about needing a break from the technology. I can not WAIT to go to WDW and be totally cut off. I'm addicted to my BlackBerry and I don't even like it. I liked my TMobile Sidekick so much more. The reason I don't have an iPhone is cause it would probably take over my life! I can't wait to *not* check the internet. At all.
