We are already doing Rainforest Cafe for lunch or dinner. Should we stay in the park for the other or is there someplace else easy to get to that we should check out?

We had a nice breakfast at Rain Forest last time.

I am underimpressed with the restaurants at Animal Kingdom. I wanted to try the Parmesian Chicken sandwich at Pizzafari, but they took it off the menu. Boo. So we are doing plan B.

We are having a large breakfast on our Animal Kingdom day (at Whispering Canyon). Then at lunchtime, I think we'll just stop by the Harambe Fruit Market and get some hot pretzls and maybe some fruit or popcorn and use our snack credits. Have a large meal planned for dinner that evening (50's Primetime at DHS). We have park hopper tickets so no problem hopping over to DHS for dinner.

I have heard that Animal Kingdom does not take all day to see...this is why we are hopping over to another park for dinner.

Boma @ AK lodge is a really good buffet!
Tusker House @ AK is good from what I've heard.

Tusker House is great if you are willing to try a variety of African dishes with African spices, etc. But my personal favorite is Yak & Yeti...I go there JUST for the lettuce cups, omg they are soooo good!!

For a counter service lunch I would say Flame Tree BBQ, for a table service I would say Yak and Yeti. FYI there is a "picnic in the park" choice that sounds great but, I haven't tried that one yet. Also, you can check out menus on Allears.

We still go to Pizzafari every trip. it just feels like home to us. ha. We have the rainforest back home. Cant wait to take the grandkids in a few years, they will love this place.

We had lunch at Tusker House and didn't care for it at all. They have a few standard offerings (roast beef, chicken, mac and cheese) other than that it was all rice and couscous and the desserts were minimal and not great. We don't plan to eat there again.

AK is NOT a 1/2 day park for us! We all love it, and wish we could spend 2 days there (one day on a longer trip we will!). We were there from opening until closing on both of our prior trips, and couldn't do it all. There is just so much to see and explore.

We are planning to do picnic in the park here, and get the chicken meal for 3. I haven't tried it, but it sounds delicious!

The only thing I can say is that I went to Tusker house and personally I quite like it. Its a buffet with some quite good food not the biggest selection though but a good thing is that you can ask your waiter about tickets for the nemo show like what I did.

It's fun to get to AK at Rope Break and eat breakfast at Tusker House--
Great Food--fun character interaction--Donald, Daisy, Pluto.
then light lunch at PIzzafari and after park closes then head to
a WDW Resort for dinner.

We always spend 2 days at AK it is so
Beautiful and so much to do--I love both FOTLK and Finding NEmo
shows(see them twice) and love Maharajah Trails with the Tigers.
The Best Parade Mickey Jungle Jamming is so Unique--love the large
Puppet Vehicals and bright colors.
The tree of life and all of the other unique rides and trails keeps us
amused and not wanting to leave, very relaxing.
