Hi. Can we eat at Vero Beach quick service without staying there. We wouldn't use the pools, etc. Just wanted to pop over and get some Mickey Waffles or lunch while in the area. I didn't know if Covid changed anything?

Don’t think so... you need a dinner reservation (or be a guest at the resort) to get past the guard shack. I suppose you could make a reservation at Wind & Waves and cancel once you get in, but not sure if you would get charged the fee.

Source: We are local to the resort, and have tried to get in for the quick service.

What about parking across the street and walking through the tunnel under A1A? No reason to stop at the guard shack when you walk up the ramp or stairs. In fact, you could exit the ramp at the far (south) end, cross the internal drive, and walk around the pool area, entering the main building on the ocean side of the resort.
