Roll out crescent rolls and place ham, turkey and cheese on half. Fold over other side of roll to close. Pinch together sides.
Repeat until all rolls are used.

Brush over egg wash on top of rolls and sprinkle on cinnamon.
Lay out on greased 8x12 pan.
Bake per directions on Crescent rolls.
Once done, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with Jelly ( I prefer raspberry or strawberry)

I'm lost do you roll out each roll individually and then roll them up? The fold over and pinch is confusing me? Isn't it a triangle?
Or am I taking half the tube- and folding over?

Sounds yummy! Thanks for sharing.

Oh, I would love to get in on this thread, we do take alot of trips, so when we are home we are a very budgeted homeschooling family of 4, here's our menu for the week:
Monday, we had cheeseburgers cooked on grill with chips, fresh strawberries for dessert
Tues- Quesadilla's made with taco seasoned turkey meat and cheese, strawberries again for dessert
Wed- tonight we are having fish sandwiches made from frozen fish fillets and hamburger buns, mac and cheese and green beans, cookies for dessert
Thurs-spaghetti made from ground turkey and jar sauce, garlic french bread
Fri-my youngest birthday, we told him he could pick anywhere to go out to eat-he picked McDonald's! Not a budget buster-yay! And I am making his cake from scratch:goodvibes

Welcome aboard! I home school too. :bday: to your son!

I've been doing meal planning for a couple of years now... basically since DD was born, I became a SAHM & we needed to stretch our dollars! But I get soooo sick of my normal go-to meals. So I'm hoping you guys can provide some inspiration. :)

Some background info: It's me, DH & DD(2). We eat out every Friday and DD & I eat at my parent's house on Tuesday & Sunday (DH is in school for his MBA so he's gone). I take a Zumba class on Wednesdays at 6:00 which makes meals those days a bit hairy. I make something either REALLY easy or have leftovers. I only go grocery shopping every 2 weeks.

Grocery day is tomorrow, so here's my list for the next 2 weeks...

Thursday: Sloppy Joe's (turkey), tater tots & sauteed zucchini
Friday: Dinner out
Saturday: Bourbon chicken w/ broccoli over rice
Sunday: Dinner @ mom & dad's (DH has leftovers)
Monday: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes & corn
Tuesday: Dinner @ mom & dad's (DH has leftovers)
Wednesday: Spaghetti w/ garlic bread & salad

Thursday: Tilapia fajitas w/ rice
Friday: Dinner out
Saturday: Hamburgers & hot dogs, baked beans, potato chips
Sunday: Dinner @ mom & dad's
Monday: Chicken, salsa & black bean burritos (in the crock pot)

Tuesday: Dinner @ mom & dad's
Wednesday: Leftover burritos
Thursday: Breaded cod, sweet potato fries & salad

Welcome aboard!

Chicken and andouille jambalaya, spinach salad, french bread.

That was my plate. I made navy beans too but didn't eat any. Hubby had some but I didn't think to ask to take a picture of his dinner!

Tonight is lemon chicken stir fry over rice. Tomorrow night we are meeting my Aunt for happy hour at our favorite bar. Draft beer is $1 and all appetizers are half price.

Sloppy joes sandwiches

Sloppy joes on baked potatoe with sour cream

Grilled chicken breast, rice, grean beans

Left over chicken cut in chucks put into a salad with sliced strawberries, walnuts.

Chicken breast cooked in one can of cream of mushroom soup and one can of garlic cream of mushroom soup and one cup of milk. I mix the two soups and milk in a bowl then pour over chicken. carrots, rice.

Garbage burgers= Ground meat, 1 cup of A1 bold and spicy, small onion cut up, 4 tbl of relish, 1 cup of bread crumbs add enough bread crumbs so the meat is do so wet. Form into a patty and cook in a skillet. Serve with corn drained and fried in a skillet. I use just a bit of butter and salt and heat for about 5 - 7 minutes.

We were going to go out tonight but I have a cold and feel like going nowhere so I threw vegetable beef soup into the crock pot and I will make crescent rolls to go with them.

While the name leaves a lot to be desired I like the sound of the garbage burgers, I'm going to have to try those. Do you serve them on a roll or just on the plate with the corn over them?

I some times serve it on a bun just like a regular hamburger. Other times just a patty with corn on the side.

I am so excited for tonight we are having company ove and I am making

Roaster asapargas
Scallop tacos with a jalopeno pesto
And open face steak sandwiches.

Today I am feeling a bit better so I am making grilled turkey tenderloins with baked sweet potatoes and fresh sweet corn.

I did my grocery shopping this morning and spent over $100 at three stores. At one store I used $26.50 worth of coupons though. It was a big week to restock on meats and a few household items.

No dinner for us last night. By the time we finished up at FIL's house it was late and neither of us felt like eating.

We'll have the white beans tonight.

switched dinner tonight to sloppy joes with fresh corn on the cob. I was at a friend's house for a jewelry party and she had a ton of food so I wanted something simple for dinner. Plus mom never says no to sloppy joes.

We spent the whole day in the garden today so come dinner time, I was exhausted. So I ran to the store and picked up something super simple for the grill.

We had hot dogs, corn on the cob, pasta salad, and potato salad.
