Just wondering if anyone uses Easy WDW crowd calendar schedule and is it accurate? Going last week in august and Im afraid Im going to hit alot of lines if I dont follow this. Let me know thanks!

I do religiously. They always work for me. He is my favorite blog to learn from. He doesn't have Disney glasses on like most blogs. He doesn't try to add a, "But in the end it's Disney so it's still good eventhough it was really bad", when talking about things that are crap at WDW.

We planned around Easy WDW's crowd calendar for the first time this past October and I have to say it was close enough that we will be using it again on our next trip.

Heres my dilemma. I arrive on a friday the 21st and was planning on maybe going to epcot for a little for the night but then originally I wanted to do Magic Kingdom on that saturday but according to his schedule it says that its the worst park to go to that day, so Im trying to decide what to do. What are your opinions ?

I used it and liked it. Sadly, you will probably hit lines no matter what - but the shorter the better!

I use Josh's site & we are arriving around noon on Aug 21st & are headed to MK after lunch. We did the same week last year & Got a lot done in MK on that Friday (made it to the park around 1:30) with our 3FP+ and diner at CP.

We went during a very busy March week. We followed his recommendation each day and were able to do everything we wanted. Highly recommend.

What I like about easywdw is he provides a description of why a particular park is not recommended. For example, on the Saturday you mentioned, you could do okay for the first few hours of the day, and then take a break and go for the late EMH. If that strategy would not work for you, I would probably not go to the MK that day. The middle of the day will be both really hot and very crowded.

I still have time to figure it out so I will be thinking alot about it over the next couple of weeks!

I follow EasyWDW's crowd predictions for all of our trips. I have total faith in Josh's predictions.

I've used it for the past few years, and overall, I would say it has been accurate with a few exceptions. However, I haven't been taking the crowd calendars too seriously anymore, because it just always seems crowded no matter what. So, it's either crowded or super crowded. I've become a little grumpy about it. Anyhow, I do look at easywdw over other ones though.

Love Josh's site! He makes me laugh and his information is accurate. We used crowd calendars last year and will do so for the most part this year as well. As far as itinerary goes, we loosely follow it. What I do is take the advice (first hour recs, anytime attractions, etc...) and adapt it to our preferences. I do think his site could be better organized but I find what I'm looking for by googling easywdw ____ (whatever I'm looking for).

Site content is okay. Organization leaves a lot to be desired. The guy that runs it is a huge jerk and because of that I use far less accurate tools out of spite.

Yep. And he's funny too :teeth:.

Really, though, I think his info is the best out there.

Saturdays are never a good day for MK, although Josh does give tips for how to have success if you do decide to do MK that day.

It's fab. Used that jerk's park recs and touring plans over a busy spring break week in mid-March and barely stood in a line.

Now planning a trip to Disneyland and have been complaining to my husband that there's no "Disneyland Josh."

Nope, won't use it. I know many others do but it is not a preferred site for me.
