Easy way to AK Villas from FW?

I'm asking for an easy way (I'm assuming there is no fast way) to get to AK- Kidani Village. We have some friends that are flying down while we are at FW. They are DVC members (I can't help it. They bought when we drug them down with us 5 years ago, but we don't hold it against them)
They traded for AK- Kidani this time not realizing how far away it was from the fort. We plan on doing dinner at their resort one night and will probably go meet them when they get in on Sunday.

Thoughts?

Easiest way is to drive yourself. If not an option. Go to a theme park, MK is the easiest one to get to. Then hop a bus to AKL.

The easiest way is to turn left out of the Fort, turn right at the first light, follow it to the end (two lights I believe), turn right and basically follow the AK signs at that point. I would plan for about 15-20 minute travel time.

Thanks! I suspected driving was the easiest.

Will I be allowed to park at Kidani? I've never driven anywhere on site except to DTD. Not sure if the other resorts have gates or restrict access to their guests only. (Like FtW)

Driving to AK always saves us a lotta time,

There are gates like all resorts have but if you tell them your there for dinner they'll let you through.
