Easy to get ADR day of

Hi friends!

Our next trip is in September and I trying a more chill approach this time. It's just my 7 yr old daughter and I. Our 60 day window for ADRs is approaching but I don't think we will book anything ahead. We did a lot of the hard to get heavy hitters last time so trying something different.

Just for fun - tell me one restaurant per park, and one non park that is easy to get a couple of days before, or even walk up.

For a party of 2 in September, you'll probably have a ton more available than you'd think.

I've gotten Le Cellier last minute for both a party of 2 and a party of 4.

If you start checking the night before, you will probably have your choice of almost any restaurant you want if your times are flexible.

For an idea on what might be available the day of or a day or 2 out, try looking in MDE over the next couple of days to see what is available. That can be a gauge for you. I’m thinking hard to get ones like Cinderella’s Royal Table or Space 220 might be difficult.

In the Magic Kingdom my family has good luck with getting walk-up or same day ADRs for Liberty Tavern or Diamond Horseshoe.

We did CRT last time so we’re good with that one. Not super interested in Space 220 for now… not for this trip anyway. My kid wouldn’t appreciate it enough for the price haha

Honestly I've been able to get Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey, and Space 220 day of. Considering those are hard to get reservations, stuff def opens up. The thing is those "good ones" go FAST. I lost the CRT one bc someone else was quicker.

I've also had luck going up and asking for a walk up table. It's better at off times (think 11-12 for lunch, 3-4:30 for dinner, etc.) but I've gotten a few that way as well.
