Easy restaurants to get without a reservation?

Both Spice Road Table & Restaurant Marrakesh in Epcot are usually less than half full every time I have dined there so good bets for last minute spots. If the food appeals, check out the menus on Disney Dining Reservations site.

Also consider eating early or late to avoid the typical 5:30pm-7pm rush.

in epcot, both restaurants in mexico often have last minute..
and while a lot of people don't like either of them for some reason, we love both of them...

We rarely make ADRs any earlier than the afternoon of, we have made a few a day before but that is rare. We just do it while walking around the parks, normally around 2 or 3 in the afternoon. We always have PHs and time or park doesn't matter to us and we love to try new places so that helps. You can actually walk up to Spice Road Tables and get a seat outside almost all the time. We have gotten, Tiffins, Mons. Paul, Sanaa, Jikos, Flying Fish all the day of. Heck we were on the bus going back to CSR and got Mayan Grill, which was one of the best meals we've had on site, for a half hour later which worked great.

We typically only book our ADR's day-of, based on what we are hungry for. We haven't starved yet :)

Trail's End, Whispering Canyon, GFC, Kona, Biergarten, Nine Dragons, San Angel, Via Napoli, most anywhere at a hotel (except character dinners), really.

Depending on when you are going, there will be plenty available.

Just check out the app.

We were there in January and decided to do one last table service on our way out of town. I checked the app and there were plenty to choose from. And this was for 1 o'clock.

I have booked Brown Derby for 10 people day of, Ate 2 hours later. Booked Crystal Palace for 11 people at 2 am (I was awake) for an 11:30 ADR same day. Same trip booked GF Cafe for 3. We were eating 30 minutes later.

The more we visit WDW, the more often we don't pre-plan every meal. Here's what works for us:

When you figure out what you want, be it the day or the hour before, check the app. So much stuff opens when that ADR penalty window closes. I've seen pretty much everything scroll by, even the heavy hitters like 'Ohana and BoG. I see CRT a lot.

Be flexible in your dining times.

Walk-ups are possible. Can't hurt to ask.

Consider eating in the bar or lounge. Same food, same atmosphere, no ADRs. Save money by ordering apps and desserts and beverages, the stars on many menus IMO. The sushi bar at the Poly is fantastic, no ADRs needed. Other favorites: Territory Lounge at WL, Tiki Terrace at the Poly.

Here are the places we've had totally last-minute success with an ADR made on the way to the restaurant or as a walk-up:
Tokyo Dining
La Hacienda
The Wave
Biergarten
Chefs de France

We always book 180+ out but almost always end up changing a day or two of our plans after we arrive and always find somewhere to eat that we wanted to get and that’s with tables of 5. The larger your party the less options available.
