Need your help with some recipes.

Next week I plan on letting my cub scout den (Bears, 3rd graders) make some Christmas treats to share with friends and we will freeze a variety to share at our next week pack meeting.

The only cooking appliance we will have available will be a microwave so it has to be something they can do in the microwave.

Here is what I have thought of so far:

Potato candy (I'll cook the potato ahead of time)
Oreo Balls
Rice Krispy treats

I would appreciate any other recipes you can think of (fairly simple and not a ton of ingredients)

TIA

No bake cookies - assuming no peanut allergies.

use the same rice crispy treat recipie that you already have but substitute "honey grahams" cereal, and throw in some mini chocolate chips at the end. they are "smore bars".

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
1 cup sugar
6 Tablespoons cocoa

1/2 teaspsoon salt
3 cups oatmeal
1 Tablespoon vanilla

In a large glass bowl, add first 4 ingredients. Microwave on high for 5 minutes (stirring every 2 minutes). Remove from microwave, mix in salt, oatmeal and vanilla. Drop spoonfulls onto wax paper and allow to cool. If you don't have a fridge available you could use a cooler. You can eat them as soon as they're cool enough to handle, but they stay together better when they are cold.

BTW, my DS9 is a Webelo

White Chocolate Pretzels

1 large bag small pretzel twists
1 bag white chocolate chips
2 teaspoons butter/margerine

Spread pretzels out on waxed paper (one layer).
Melt white chocolate chips in microwave (add butter/margerine if a little thick)
With a large spoon drizzle melted white chocolate over pretzels

You can decorate with candy sprinkles or colored sugar while chocolate is still "wet" if desired.
