What time should we be at the resort bus stop to be at the park before it opens? Our last big trip was a few years ago and we typically got to the bus stop about an hour before. Is that still good?

And for a PPO breakfast at MK, what time do we get to the bus stop? (park opens at 9, ressie is for 8:10)

Thanks.

I'd say by 720 the latest. I think the hour before is still probably best. Better safe than sorry. Although depends what resort I guess and how far it is from MK.

We are staying at AKL. This seems like an easy question yet I'm having a hard time finding the answer. :)

We have always used the one hour rule. We plan to be at the bus stop NLT one hour prior to park opening and have never been late. It's worked well for us.

Haven't done it myself... I've always gone with the hr before park opening as well... but several here have said that they've experienced a little earlier at around 6:30 for the first buses to help out those with early dining reservations. However, only 2 cast members have said that this could happen occasionally depending bus schedules, which resort, but nearly all CM have said an hour before and not earlier.

Amazingly, many non-transportation CM's are uninformed about this. The buses always start running at approximately 6:30.

Great! there you have it Pembo, if you want to be at the front of the gate lines, you could wait at 630am for the 1st bus. In the past as a resident, I've arrived 35 min before park opens and there were only handful of people in front of you at gate. at 30 min though, there were a rush of people. I generally shot for about 45 min to hr before to be close to the front of gate line, and with my walking speed consistently got to front of the CM wall to be first on at the major attractions.

Also, I've found that especially at DHS, if you can find a smaller line towards the far right, watch or ask early... but they almost always open the far right gate lanes at the last minute after the lines develop (about 10-15min before). You can jump to these gate lanes and be first in.

Don't think I'll be at a 6:30 bus for a 9:00 am opening. LOL I think being at the bus stop an hour before will be fine.

Thanks everyone.

Sorry, I think I honed in on what is the earliest the buses come for pick up (6:30). If reservation is at 8:10, I was told that they generally allow you to get in about 15 min earlier (7:55). So if you waited for buses at about 7-720 like Tattylou said, you allow about 30-55 min for you to be picked up, dropped off, and walking to gate.
