I have never called for ADRs before being in the hotel (even then DH has called), so I need to know what kind of info they are going to ask? Do they need to know what hotel we will be staying at or anything? I assume anybody can do ADRs not just those onsite, so I don't know why they would need that but just making sure. TIA

They will ask you:

1. If you're on the Dining Plan
2. Which restaurant
3. What day/time
4. How many adults/children
5. Where you are staying
6. Your home phone number

Then they'll give you a confirmation number. :)

All they usually ask for is Name and Phone Number, though they will ask if you are staying onsite, and if so, for your res #, if you know it. This allows them to link your reservations, but is not required. You may need to leave a CC deposit for select dining opportunities, but that is uncommon (CRT comes to mind).

Don't be nervous calling them. The cm's are great when it comes time to call. I have always found them to be helpful and they seem to make it easier than I had thought it would be. Make sure though for your sake that you have all the ADR's written down and when they give the confirmation number write it down. Also have your credit card handy. A few of the places need a credit card to hold the reservation. Also if you have anything special like a birthday or anniversary tell them when you make the reservations.

Thank you so much for your answers. I feel like I can do the calls now. Well as soon as I figure out where to go....lol.
