If i stand in a line for a ride that I want to go on, then at the last minute change my mind (dont doubt me, I stood in a line for 35 mintues once at Noah's ark, then changed my mind) do they have like easy outs? You know where Im not annoying people as I go find a spot to wait for my crew?

Most people who change their minds usually just go under the ropes to leave the line. Some rides do have a half-way point or sometimes earlier where you can "escape." For example, Space Mountain has an Exit located on the left just after entering into the building. :)

I know the answer to this one well! The last 2 trips, my dd got a case of the "chickens" and would want to go on every single ride until it was our turn to ride and then change her mind. Every ride has an out at the last minute without having to go back through the line. That is awful to have to walk through the crowds waiting to go in.

The only one that was problematic was Pirates (yep, refused to do Pirates but has done it hundreds of times before!!) That one we had to walk across the boat seats to the other side to exit and then they loaded others in those seats. Also, they do not let you wait right there at the exit for the rest of your party, we had to "clear the area" but every other ride I can think of, you can stand in line the whole way and then exit. She will do the Haunted Mansion so I am not sure if you can go into the stretching room and then refuse to ride but you can always go up to the door and there is an exit on the side.

Try each thing at least one time!! You might be surprised how fun something is that you are afraid of (well, except Tower of Terror-skip that if you are chicken!)

I was wondering about POTC. My son is 3 1/2 now and remembers the ride and half the time says he wants to ride it and the other half says no way! I have taken him every time we have done (10mo, 18mo and 2 1/2) and he hates the dark drops but then is ok. We are going to try to ride it but we may be the ones walking through the boat to head out of the exit without a ride. Thanks for the info in case he "chickens out"!

I had a hard time once getting out of the Alice and Wonderland line. I was holding my then 2 year old and got REAL sick (I had a cold, it was way too hot, and I think dehydration!). I felt I was going to pass out, and I wasn't close enough to get on the ride yet, and too far to go back out the enterance! So I had to push my way through to the front of the line and exit there. I had to keep repeating that I wasn't cutting, I was going to faint and needed to get through! That was a nightmare!

But yeah most of the time it's not a big deal, I've "chickened" out on a few rides myself! ;)

That is true JenDisneylandlver, once you are in the lines, you are really stuck. If you are just going to stay in line until the front, it is easy enough to change your mind but once you are in the queues, it is really difficult to get out especially on ones just like Alice, Peter Pan, Dumbo and even Storybook. Usually people do move out of the way to let you pass but going back is easier than heading to the front since hostile people think you are cutting in line. If you have a small child, they ofter think you are having an emergency bathroom break so they let you out!
