Party at work and I need to bring something sweet. I normally make a Heath bar trifle, but want to try something else. I have had some bad luck with brownies going flat on me. Any suggestions for a crowd pleaser? I know someone s bringing a pecan cake, so it needs to be different. I usually try to do something chocolate. Because I will have to make it tomorrow, I might end up just buying something but I was hoping someone might have an idea for an easy. It great dessert.

Have you ever made chocolate yummy? Some call it 4 layer delight. Super yummy. But it does take a few minutes to make.

At this time of year I would just slice up a whole bunch of apples and put them on a tray with a tub of caramel dip

Pumpkin Dip.

1 8oz block of cream cheese
1 15 oz can of pumpkin
2 cups confectioners sugar
1 tbs of cinnamon
1 tbs pumpkin pie spice
1 tsp orange juice

Beat all ingredients together and serve with ginger snaps for dipping

Cannoli Dip

2 cups ricotta cheese
1 8 oz block of cream cheese
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1 cup mini chocolate chips

beat together 1st 3 ingredients. Stir in chips Serve with broken waffle cones/bowls or pizzelles for dipping.

Two boxes of Ghiradelli brownies. They are better than homemade and you can add ingredients to embellish them. Easy, quick, delicious. I buy a large box of 6 bags at Costco. Everyone asks me to bring my brownies. Take a tub of vanilla ice cream and some sliced berries.

I made these for a Cinco de Mayo party and everyone LOVED them!!! They now ask me to make them for every occasion. I used regular vanilla extract in place of mexican vanilla extract and for the crescent roll part I used seemless dough sheet made by Pillsbury in crescent roll section. (Its just like crescent roll dough but without the seems. Its an easy thing to make ahead and pop in the fridge. Try it and you wont be disappointed!!!

Heart Attack Bars

2 pkgs. Crescent rolls

2 8 oz cream cheese – softened

1 cup sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

Mix cream cheese, sugar and vanilla together until creamy and smooth.

Spread 1 pkg crescent rolls on the bottom of 9x13 pan. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the top. Spread the other crescent roll on the top – stretching as best you can to cover.

Melt 1 stick of butter and pour over the top.

Mix ¼ cup white sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon together and sprinkle over the top.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cool completely before cutting.

I have a quick easy dessert that I use often and people love it. It does need some time to sit though and overnight is best.

All you need is a package of Chips Ahoy chocolate chip cookies. Not the softbatch kind. Some milk and a large tub of cool whip.

Poor some milk in a bowl. Then in a 9x13 pan line the bottom with cookies dipped in the milk. I break pieces to fit in the edges and stuff so there is a good solid layer on the bottom. Then cover that with a layer of cool whip. Then repeat a layer of cookies and another layer of cool whip. Refridgerate overnight or at least several hours and enjoy! This is a hit everytime I make it and its so easy!

This time of year a gingerbread trifle is always a big hit, and it's super easy. Make it like you do any trifle - layer lots of gingerbread with whipped cream and vanilla pudding. Top with crushed gingersnaps (cookies). So good! :goodvibes

I got a similar recipe off of pinterest except it had pie filling on top of the cream cheese and no butter poured on top. This sounds really yummy too though. I love cream cheese.

This is exactly what I thought of when I read the title of the thread. Simple & delish!

I agree with the eclair cake. Super easy and relatively inexpensive.

1 box graham crackers
2 boxes vanilla instant pudding
3 cups milk
1 small tub cool whip - thawed
1 can chocolate frosting
9x13 pan

Mix cool whip, pudding and milk until blended and smooth. Put single layer of graham crackers in pan and pour half of the pudding mix on top and spread evenly. Then add second layer of graham crackers. Spread remainder of pudding mixture. Add third layer of graham crackers. Microwave frosting until easily stirred. Then pour over last layer of graham crackers and spread evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours (I do overnight).

Always goes fast wherever I take it!!!!
