Easy Countdown Calendar

Home Depot has a line of Disney inspired paint colors. The paint samples are in the shape of the Mickey Head so I picked up enough to cover the days until we go in May, and taped them to a posterboard. My kids will get to take one off each day until we leave, just wanted to share a quick easy way to make a countdown for those interested! Picture in next post...

Great idea! Especially if I plan in advance and pick a few up each time I'm there rather than cleaning them out in one visit. Lots of days before my trip so need quite a few.

So cute! My 6 y/o is having a hard time understanding what 23 days looks like! I may just make this for him today. Plus we adults would have a ton of fun with it!!!

We did ours backwards. Instead of removing a mickey head we add a numbered head each day. We have an airplane for the day we depart
