Eastern shore excursions

I am going on the Dec. 28th 7 day cruise to the Eastern Carribean. First of all, I don't suppose there is anyone out there also going on that one with a nine year old or thereabouts boy? ;-)

My real question is my son and I have signed up for the following excursions, then I found this board, so I wanted to check while I can still change things if I need to. We signed up for ( I think it was St. Thomas) the Doubloon ship/snorkel tour, then on the same island, an island tour, and then on I think it was St. Maarten we could only sign up for the submarine ride/island tour called the sea and see. Did we do ok? Is there something else that you would recommend more for my nine year old and I? Thanks so much!

Finally, someone else that is going on eastern cruise with us!!! It is myself, DH and our one son, age 14. This will be our 4th DCL cruise and second time on the eastern magic. We have never been in the winter, always summer months as I am a teacher and our DS is in school. Last time, we did the Golden Eagle Catamarran at St. Martin and it was great!! We did the Trunk Bay beach and snorkel last time and it was the most beautiful place. This time we are doing the kayaking excursion on st. martin and the 5 star Trunk Bay snorkel trip upon the Leyland Sneed. Maybe you can email me so we can compare notes.
