Eastern - Magic Scheduled for St. Thomas Anchorage

According to the US VI cruise ship site the Magic is scheduled to be at anchorage (read "tender") at St. Thomas for both Feb cruises. Appears as though this is the way things are going to be for awhile (or docked at Crown Bay, as did the 1/26 port call). Factor in the extra tender times (and the crush to get on the 1st tender of the day for shore excursions or St. John on your own) into the already tight schedule.

We did a first thing in the morning tender on January 22nd cruise and Disney was extremely organized with a lot of boats waiting. No problem at all. Their is an advantage too you go directly to Charolette Amelie instead of unloading at the mall a couple of miles away. Disney did a first rate job on this.

Ditto....We were tendered in on our 1/8/05 cruise. There was not a problem at all. It was actually quite enjoyable and very organized. Personally, I was glad that we didn't have to find transportation into town. The walk would have been practically impossible with three young children. By tendering, you disembark right at the main shopping areas. We enjoyed it very much.

We were also on the Magic for the 1/26 visit. Tendering went well, our waiter said that after 10pm, there's no wait, but they actually were announcing that they had no wait shortly after 9pm. My favorite benefit is that the duty free liquer store is located across the street from where the Disney tender drops you off. It's in the back of the store that says "Rolex" on top of it.

Nice post.... do you guys think DCL ships will ever have webcams to share with us??? They have the cams in place but just don't share... or do they ?

I don't think Disney will ever share they bridge cam to the outside world.
