Does anyone know if you can take an EcV on these? And does the 25pp cover the trip back down too? Or is it just one way? I hear there's a resturant at the top - is it any good?
Not for ECV. Or for those who can’t move fast enough to load/unload a gondola. There is a restaurant - somewhat expensive.
Biggest problem - lots of stairs. This is mentioned on TripAdvisor questions. And you can see the walk to it and getting to the top in this YouTube video:
The blogger is a big guy - over 300+ lbs. The walk from the ship starts at 10:10 and is filmed in real time.

The price is round trip, and if you don't want to buy in advance from Disney, you can buy your ticket that day - the cost difference in November was $1 more at the ticket window due to taxes. My friends ordered an appetizer at the restaurant and it was good. They also ordered the Bushwacker at the bar and man was that a strong drink. It is an outside open air restaurant some seats are under cover, some out in the open.
