Eastern Caribbean in late February?

Has anyone sailed at this time in Eastern Caribbean? How are the temperatures? I hate cold water. Are rates usually lower at this time?

We have sailed the caribbean in March and the ocean is pretty cold. We also sailed on the Fantasy a few weeks after hurricane Sandy and the water at castaway was pretty chilly. I believe that was a November cruise.
