Eastern - best sunrise/sunset to see

Is there any particular day/place that is best to see the sunrise? What about the sunset?
I imagine it would be easier to catch a sunrise on the port mornings since we'd need to be up anyway

On the 4 day I was up every day to watch the sunrise. I found the most beautiful sunrises where at sea. As for specific spot, it would change day by day depending what direction the ship was heading. If you are up before dawn it is easy to figure out where it will be rising. There was always a good seat as most people were still sleeping.
I'm an early riser so missing it was never an issue.
