We will be there too during Easter Break but will be from the 2nd till the 8th. I have never been this time of year and hope it isn't too busy! I will look for feedback from others that have done it.
First time for us in April too. We will be there from the 8th-18th. But from looking at the new hours it seems it might be busy since MK is open almost 24hrs/day that week
I am just hoping the weather is as great as I have been told
We'll be there for Easter weekend! No parks for us this time....DH had fusion in neck 2 months ago. So.....we are going to do all the things at WDW that we never have time to do because we are in the parks!
Can't wait to try the Sea Raycers, sail boats, explore resorts, watch the Electrical Water Parade from Poly, Campfire sing-a-long at FW, boat ride from POR to DD for shopping, shop & snack along the Boardwalk, breakfast buffet at Boma's!
For those of you going to the parks--we've been every other year for the last 16 years at Easter time. It WILL be crowded--but if you go early and then leave for a mid-afternoon pool & lunch break and head back around 7pm til close--you will get plenty of rides in. Just have a positive attitude and actually make conversation with the people you are waiting in line with!
We will be staying at the All Star Sports Resort April4th-11th. We where at Disney 4 years ago over Spring break and it was really busy but not as bad as I had pictured in my head. Make the best of your time standing in line with your family and you will still have a great time!
We are Easter next year - March 27 to April 10, 2010.
I hope the weather is great.
I have been tracking Orlando weather for our dates in 2009 - and it looks like rainy season.
When we went to WDW in 2007 for Easter we had near perfect weather. One rainy day and one cold, 45 degree day, and the rest were in the 70's and 80's.
So far for 3/27 through 4/6 in 2009 there are partly cloudy and scattered showers almost every day, either a 40% chance or 60% chance.
Sounds like June weather to me.
I am praying and hoping for better weather for those dates in 2010.
We'll be at the Poly April 4-11. I'm a little concerned about the crowd since it will be our girls' first trip. We've been on spring break many times but I've never seen crowd predictions like these!
Hi - we are going at the same time - April 8th to 19th...and yes, I think it's going to be busy...but we don't worry about getting to every park and going on every ride. We will have an early start when we do go to a Park and plan on really enjoying the CBR and Bonnet Creek properties. I just want to make time go faster so we'll be there!!!
Time is going by way to fast for me I need it to slow down so I can get ready.
My spring break starts tomorrow(teacher) So At 2:00 I'll be doing a happy dance and then I'll come home and pack/get ready for disney
So I'm not the only one who's nervous about Easter week. We'll be there April 15th-22nd.
We generally go every year in February, but were unable to do so this year. We booked in April knowing that it's going to be more crowded than we are used to.
We are going to be there April 18th to 25th...the week after Easter week. Looks like it will be just as busy that week as it is Easter week. But we are not going to worry about crowds. We are just happy to be there and aren't pressed to do any one thing, except have fun. My family is pretty flexible. We have tour plans and ADR's, but aren't going to be strict with them. So, everyone have fun......it's almost time !!!
Sitting here on the couch, all packed...just waiting for our flight tomorrow!!! Yippee!! I'm not too worried about the crowds. I WILL be at MK at 7:00am!!
We (Me, DH, DS10 & DS9) are staying at the Poly and doing the parks for three days (4/9/09-4/12/09) before taking off on DCL for four nights. Anyone else at the Poly at this time?
We will be there 4/10-4/16...Looking forward to a nice trip...Can't sweat the crowds...just have to be prepared to get in, get out and hang by the pool mid day...we have been over Christmas also and nothing compares to seeing people camped out on any available lawn space in EPCOT by 12 pm...
