Easter Week VIP passes?

Hi- we will be at WDW next week and would also like to visit US. Since it is one of the busiest weeks of the year was looking for an opinion on our plans and US ticket options.

We are thinking about

Tue-RD-HS
Wed-RD-MK
Th-RD-US/IOA vip xpress
Fri-TL or BB 10 am RD, Parade + wishes MK
Sat-RD at E or AK. Fantasmic res. for Sat night.

Do you think it is possible to do both parks in one day commando style the week before Easter? Opening-closing with VIP passes? Or will the xpress lines still be so long (longer than 20 min?) that we would still be better off doing 2 days xpress or 1 day xpress and 1 day rope drop? I understand that the VIP xpress doesn't include HP.

We are considering this vs. 2 day-2 park passes and using RD strategies, or even adding express to our IOA day.

Thanks for any help you can give me. Great place for ideas here!

Hi again...after more discussion, my new situation is:

Do you think we could do all of IOA, and US in one day next week- and would Tuesday be better than Thurs to do that. seeing as it is Spring Break and the week before Easter?

So what we are thinking is if we are going to spend the $ on the VIP passes- why not do a crazy day with both parks and get the most out of it. This wouldn't usually be our choice, the VIP passes or one day.... except it is a peak week and we are trying to make the most of a crazy situation. We figure since we are staying closer to WDW once we get to US, we like the idea of doing everything that day. And our kids are older and capable of doing it. We tend to be the kind of people who are always the last at a party, even at our advanced ages! So once we get there, we think it will be hard to leave- especially if it is Tues and our first day in any park- we will be ready to go and pumped up. We can adjust our schedule and do a RD in WDW on Wed. or not.

I guess I'm worried that even with the VIPs Thursday will be a little crazier than Tues, even though it's Easter Week. I read on a site somewhere that more WDW people go to US later in the week. And Friday is Good Friday, so get the feeling people will get their kids out of school one day and make a long weekend of it, so making Thursday more crowded than Tues. And wonder if that's a factor we should consider.
