Has anyone experienced first hand what the crowds are like Easter Sunday through the following Friday? I'm trying to figure out if it would be worth the extra money ($1600-ouch) to switch from the end of February to Easter break. :confused3

Pro: kids don't miss school and have to do independent study while on vacation
Con: downgrade package for higher price which may be a struggle to pay

Hi,

Unfortunately Easter week is VERY Crowded. The end of February is pretty empty.

Weather is usually nicer Easter week, but that's a big tradeoff: crowds + money!

Good luck,

Bob

I went for Easter a few years ago. It was extremely crowded. I'd even go as far as to say more crowded than the summer! I vowed to never return during Easter!!!

Sounds like it might be miserable to go during Easter week, because I do not like crowds. My TA confirmed this as well. My kidos can do homework on our flights, and the good part is they won't get marked absent if they are on independent study. It looks like it is best to stick with February. Thank you everyone :cool1:.

We also went Easter week a few years ago. Yes it's very busy. I wouldn't suggest this week for first timers to the world but, if you know the parks you can still get a lot done (mk usually open to midnight).
