Easter Week 2011

Hello all!
I am coming to Europe for the first time from St Louis, Mo. U.S. in April 2011
We are taking a 3 night cruise from Southampton, England to Paris.
We are planning to stay at the Disneyland resort either pre or post cruise for 3 days.
The cruise is April 27-30, 2011. Easter Sunday in 2011 is April 24th.
Do you think it would be best to make our DLP visit from Easter Sunday - Wed 04/27/2011 or would it be better to go post cruise?
If we go post cruise we would check in on Sat. 04/30/11 and stay thru Tues 05/03/11.
I am just concerned about the crowds around that time. I know here in the U.S. Easter week at WDW is very crowded.

As a general rule, I'd avoid any main public holidays at DLP if you can - on Easter weekend you'll have the local guests, plus a lot of European schools have holidays around Easter, and so you'll have a lot of families from all over Europe there too.

Thanks for the quick reply!! Here in the U.S. most of the kids go back to school the Tuesday after Easter is it that way there too? Also, I have read that almost every Monday in May is a holiday in Paris so do the schools recognize these holidays as well?
We are leaning towards going to DLP post cruise from 04/30/11 thru 05/03/11

My daughters school is off on holiday right to the end of April in 2011 . Even if there are localised May Monday holidays when you're planning to go, at the beginning of May its still going to be quieter for you at DLP than Easter week would be.

Thanks I think that is what we will do...pre cruise we will spend a day or 2 in London and post cruise a few days at DLP....I appreciate all the great info everyone here provides!! Thanks a bunch
