Easter v. Thanksgiving

Last time I was at DLR was the Friday, Saturday and Sunday following Thanksgiving in 2007. It was very busy, but we managed.

We are returning next month for the three days following Easter (4/5-4/7). I know it is spring break time and it will be busy, but was interested in how this would compare to our last trip the days following Thanksgiving.

Any insight is appreciated.

I think that's kind of hard to say, because Thanksgiving 2009 was vastly different from (and much less busy than) Thanksgiving 2007.

But long story short:
*Lately, blockout dates (see http://disneyland.com/ap ) tend to be LESS busy than non-blockout dates (because a large majority of Disneyland guests are locals)
*The dates after Easter are blocked out for the two lowest tiers of APs, so in that regard, they'll be good.
*Spring Break is traditionally very busy with a lot of vacationers coming in, so in that regard it will still probably be fairly busy.

My best guess, however, is that it will actually be less busy than Thanksgiving 2007. But I personally prefer to expect it to be busy and then be pleasantly surprised.

Have a great trip!
