Not sure if this is in the correct spot, but my DH and I are brand new DCV owners. We have are first trip planned for Easter time, we will be staying at AKV-Jambo House. My question is~ Is there any place where you can order Easter baskets? We have three small boys and I am trying to decide what I am going to do about them receiving something from the Easter bunny.

Thanks

We stayed at the BLT during Eastertime. There was a kiosk in the Contemporary with East Baskets (filled) for sale. They must do it at each resort.

We spent Easter in WDW last year. We stayed at the Beach Club. There were CMs preparing easter basket right outside the gift shop. I believe you pick out the items that you want in the basket and they prepare it and wrap it for you. Im sure the other vacation club resorts do the same. If you are renting a car and one of you can get away from the kids, there are many stores (Target, Walmart, etc) in the area. We did this and put the baskets together while the kids slept. We had the basket waiting for them in the morning on the table along with eggs hidden throughout the villa for their easter egg hunt. Also, you can always prepare baskets for them before you arrive and have them shipped to Jambo House. Hope this helps.

You can order a basket in the main store at Jambo. They have ones pre-prepared or you can order one to contain particular items you want. You can also order on-line before you go at disneyflorist.com (you won't find any there right now because they don't start showing Easter baskets for a few months) but that means they will be delivered to room and you risk their arrival at a time when you may not want little ones in the room to know they have arrived.

Thanks for the help, I think being able to hand pick what is going in them is the way we will go! :)

We will be leaving BLT on Easter day. Thanks OP for asking this....we have 3 boys and would also like something for them.
Any idea how much the baskets at the kiosks were?
Are the baskets disposable? I hate to buy baskets And waste the money if we throw them out or leave them, we wouldn't bring them homeon the plane.
Can you buy just a cheap basket and straw/grass? We will be on the Dream earlier in the week so I figure I may be able to pick up items throughout the trip.

Will you be ordering any groceries for your trip?

Have you considered "we Go Shop"?

We use their service every year to get our groceries and I am always very pleased with the outcome and the price.

They will shop at your store of choice and will visit more then one store if you need them to. You could always have them head to Walmart or Target for you with a list of easter goodies and baskets, maybe with a price guideline on how much to spend. You could then pick up some items around the resort to add to the baskets if you wanted.

The other thing that would work well is to just get what you would like for the baskets, along with some inexpensive baskets at home and then box it up and ship it down. We did this one year for suprise gifts and it worked great. The box was waiting for us at guest services when we checked it. I explained what was in it and the CMs held it for me until the night I needed it so there was no worry about anyone finding it!

Have a wonderful trip!
