We are getting ready for our second Easter trip to WDW......& having a hard time making plans! The "Official" Disney site has little to NO info on activities & events going on while we are there. If the schedules are to be believed, the parade around World Showcase (k, I forget the name already!!) won't even be running after Easter Sunday! Anyone know where I can find real info to help us plan ahead? And does anyone know if the Easter Parade still runs at MK, & if so, when? Thanks......24 days & counting!

I believe the last day of the Easter Parade runs on Easter Morning . . .although I'm not sure because when we went at Easter 00 we couldn't get near the MK . . .I also believe that that same parade ran the entire week before Easter . . .

Maybe you can try this website . . . www.wdwig.com

It's pretty informative and it'll probably answer questions you may have, as well as, maybe have park hours . . .

Did you try www.disney.go.com? Not sure if its the same was Walt Disney World.com . . .I've noticed that WDW website is a little behind . . .

The Tapestry of Dreams parade at Epcot runs every night all year (and usually twice during Easter time) and thus the website is just missing info.

The Easter Parade at MK is simply the daily 3 p.m. parade with some Easter Floats added. It runs the entire week before Easter and on Easter (there is no parade Easter "morning"). A number of the resorts have Easter Egg (candy) hunts.

Thanks for the help.

Last year, we were at Coronado Springs at Easter. Instead of an Easter Egg hunt, they offered a "Candy Grab", divided by age groups. At the request of my then 7 yr old, we will not be doing that again this year, as she did not enjoy getting trampled in the rush. The Boardwalk activities sound much more fun, & as we are staying at AK, unless I find out otherwise, it does not look like they have any special activities planned.

As for the parade, it may be better to try & squeeze it in on Friday I think, before the big rush!

Wonder why the "unofficial" sites always have better info?!!
