Easter mass and special events?

We'll be staying at OKW for Easter and when we went a couple of years ago for Easter, they had a Catholic mass at the Contemporary resort. I can't remember what time the mass was but I was wondering if they do that every year. I want to make reservations for brunch but I don't want to do anything before I know what they plan. We were at Coronado Springs and Mickey and Minnie came for an egg hunt and pictures with the kids. My girls loved it. Does anyone know what the plan is?

I'm not sure if they'll have Mass there again this year, I would think so, but another option, if you have a car is to go to Mary Queen of the Universe for Mass. You should be able to pick a Mass that will work for your plans. They have a website and they aren't too far away. It is a beautiful place.

Thanks Donna! That's where my parents and inlaws have been when they go to mass while on vacation.

Couple years back we'd gone to Easter Sunday mass at Contemporary....iirc it was around 10 or 11 am. There's also Holy Family Church on Apopka-Vineland that's about 20 minutes away where my nephew was married; Corpus Christi in Celebration is closer if you exit property past Pop Century / Wide World of Sports.

Oh we love Mary Queen of the Universe, it is such a great church! We too will be there at Easter and will have our car, so I think that is where we will be heading! I wonder what the cab fare would be from OKW?

I believe Mass at the Contemporary on Easter is at 8am, and also at 10am. (maybe 10:15am) (there is a nondenomonational service in between) We have been to it 3 or 4 times over the years. If you decide to go to Mary Queen of The Universe, take note the Easter Vigil Mass (Saturday night) is very very long, and getting out of there after can be a nightmare.

Also, Corpus Christi in Celebration will be in their new church and having Easter masses.
