Easter, July or August?

Hey all!

Just looking at opinions on going this Easter and the week after (I know, it's next week, but I have some possibilities for last minute deals...) or if that doesn't work out, we were thinking about summer, but would it be better to go in July or in August? Unfortunately we can't go in the off-season because I'm a teacher...

This year, I would say definitely wait until July or August. The new Star Tours and Little Mermaid rides are opening on June 3rd and there will be a new parade debuting for the summer (sorry don't remember the dates for that one). I think crowds will be pretty similar for July and August.

^^^I agree with the PP about waiting until the summer, but between July and August, I would go mid-late August. Most socal locals go back to school within the second to third weeks of August. I have found that crowds are pretty low at these times, as long as you avoid the early labor day travelers. Good luck!

The Dobies always go around the middle of August and we love it. It can be hot, but it has been hotter in October and June, it is not too crowded, the days are long, the nights are lovely, and oh, those afternoons by the pool!!!!!

Not really. And August is on average warmer than July. I personally would choose July but August is still a fine choice. We end up going in August a lot because the way our schedule works.

Our schedule for the most part has dictated August, usually the 3rd week. The last couple of years the crowds have varied mostly do to the AP block out dates. August does get warm but we do not mind the heat. This year we are going the first week so we will see how things go.
