Easter in the resorts...

We're going to be at the WL over Easter.... Does the WL do anything special for
easter? We've never been at WDW over a holiday before (other than NYE)
so we don't have a clue what to expect!
Do the WL restaraunts do anything special, also??

It's been a while since I went for Easter but when I was younger I rember the Easter Parade at The Mk and special Easter meals Etc. I don't rember the resorts doing anything. I'll be there the week after Easter. We usually go the first week in May. So I'm sure it will be more crowded. Hopefully someone can give you more info. KELLY

Easter @ WL

I stayed @ WL for Easter in 98. On Easter Day they did have an egg hunt for the kids, it was in the morning. My little sister had a blast. They also have a Easter Parade @ MK but it is not taped that day so you will not be on TV. I think it is taped a week before Easter. That is about all I can think of.

And WDW is extremely crowded around this time because everyone is trying to take their kids to WDW on spring break. Disney is ALWAYS fun, it just took a little longer to get on the rides, however the parks are open later during peak times so you SHOULD be able to see the majority of things. If you are going to be there after Easter too I would hold off on buying any Easter themed merchandise until the day after or later in your trip because it will get marked down.

Just a note the parade at MK isn't anything much different on Easter. Any parade that might be televised from KM is taped a couple of weeks before!
Most resorts have egg hunts and there are some nice meals around the World.
When we made our PS for California Grill for this Easter they had me give CC# becuase of the Holiday!

I was there last year but left the day before Easter. Going again this year and leaving the day before Good Friday. At GF last year they had great "Easter baskets" made up in the stores and I wanted to get DD one so badly but didn't b/c I didn't want to have to lug it home secretly on the plane...this year I'm driving down, so am hoping they have similar offerings at AKL>>>
