Well I am 16, and my family have been living in London all our lives. Because of this we never actually go and do tourist things in London, I know sounds sad. I also have a little sister 6 so I want to give her a treat. I want to do something in C. London for 1 day. Any reccomendations?

I was thinking London Aquarium and London Eye maybe. Anything else we can do? It will be 3 adults and 2 children going.

BTW its not Paris or somewere Disney as we will be going later this year.

One of the best things we did in London was to take an open top bus! Like you, I lived in London, and when you live somewher you dont do all the touristy things.
Plus you learn sooo much, and get to see the perspective on London. For most people London is pockets of places outside the tube and you dont see that Victoria is close to buckingham Palce and Oxford Street is close to Picadilly Circus etc until youre on a bus and you see it in the right order!

I would advise warm clothes though - it can get pretty chilly up there.
We just did this in NY too, and our 6 year old loved the open top bus!

Mmm... Good idea, we will have to find somewere to aprk the car or tube it.

we did the eye (pre book a must) with the person telling you about every thing.A show in west end and london dungon a trip to tate and a walk round parliment (outside). Also we had an evening meal at the outback in wandsworth as it was going to be a while before our next blomming oniion, even had one for desert :rotfl: we stayed for a weekend

I wouldnt recommend the london dungeon for a 6 year old (unless you want them to have nightmares!) - and I know my 6 year old would be bored on the London eye after approximately 3 minutes!!!

However, I like the idea of the outback!!! :)

True the London Eye when I went was pretty boring after 10 minutes, but it was decent as we had mates around having fun.

The Dungeon looks a good idea to me, scare my sister LOL!
And I don't really want a guided London Eye, we are going to get bored of him LOL!
London Aquarium is still an option.

Would you spend the whole day at the Dungeon? Or how many hours?

Chessington World of Adventures or Thorpe Park!!!! Well they are fairly near London.
