We will be on board the Fantasy for Easter. Will the shops be selling Easter Baskets? There are two gift items available to order. The Sunny Bunny Delight mentions having a stuffed Mickey and Minnie in their bunny outfits-----does anyone know how big they are? There's also a Hop Into My Heart gift with Rice Krispie Treats. Anyone have experience with either gift items or with purchasing an Easter basket in the shops? We board the day before Easter. Thanks!

We sailed on the Fantasy last year over Easter. There were no Easter items in the shops on Saturday. If you want to celebrate in your room, bring your own items or order ahead of time.

We are going to be in the same cruise as you. I am trying to figure out an Easter game plan as well. At first I was just going ro leave stuff in their baskets at home for when they returned but then I saw that there would probably be an Easter bunny on board the ship so then I thought they might think it's weird the bunny didn't bring it to them on the ship. I think I may get one of those fabric ones that are small and collapsible and bring a few things.

How about a stuffed Mickey with a note from the bunny saying the rest of the Easter present is at home?

It was about four years ago, but when we sailed The Dream on Easter Sunday there were a couple of small gift baskets for sale in Mickey's Mainsail. I can't remember what they looked like if that tells you anything. I would try to bring things with me. I've heard people were underwhelmed with the Disney gifts. It's a shame, but when we went we ordered baskets from a local florist that were in our cabin when we boarded. Disney no longer allows that.

In 2014 I shipped baskets to our pre-cruise WDW resort. I used a sand pail w/ a shovel for the basket so we had something for CC, wrapped it one of those cellophane bags and tied a ribbon on it. I also hid some eggs around the stateroom.

Bree, I LOVE that idea of the sand pail and shovel. Thank you! That is perfect and we always do an Easter egg hunt so I will probably hide eggs in the stateroom too but I wouldn't have thought about that. I have been obsessing over this and what to do. Thank you thank you!

We boarded the Magic last year on Easter. The only thing they did was have eggs at the entrance to the lunch buffet. There was not an Easter bunny or anything special in the gift shops. We just left my boys baskets at home and had the bunny fill the baskets while we were gone. We were so busy on the cruise that they never even thought about Easter baskets.

We were on the Fantasy for Easter last year. There were no gift baskets or anything Easter related to purchase on the ship. Also, there were no holiday/special happenings going on either. We bought everything for the Easter basket from home.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for because I get the impression the holiday or special happenings you're discussing would be about the Easter bunny. But, the ships do host special religious ceremonies on Easter morning.
