So, I booked my flight, hotel, got my hopper tickets, car, and now already questioning my decision. I have a knot in my belly as I am reading Easter weekend is beyond crowded.

I'm so worried my family will be miserable and blame it on me for choosing this date.

I thought I did my research well. I entered several time periods in March-April we could go and I was most successful finding the most availability at many hotels during Easter weekend (shockingly) - the time frame we are going. It was actually the end of March and beginning of April (our spring break!) that hotels were quite booked and flights were difficult.

I was hoping since Easter is later, maybe we'll get lucky as far as spring break for others around the country?
The dates are also black out dates, will that help if schools in SoCal are on break?

Also, does Disney offer a "schedule for the day" prior. Say we are going into the park on Friday, can I get/download a good on Wednesday attempt to "plan" what we would like to see and do..

Links links links...all of your links are great guys! Good maps of the parks... I have a 12, 9, 7 daughter & me semi-disabled and any suggestions would be great

Any tips for making the most of our time too! I read doing C-Adventure on Saturday then DL on Sunday is beneficial.

Is the disney website the best site to go for stuff like this?

Heck, I didn't even know about the World of Color..and it's free?!? ha ha...total DL virgin here!
Oh well.....I can hope for rain as we are use to that up here in WA.

First thing. If you post on the main DL board where you first post go moved to... You will get more answers and much faster.

Yes, www.disneyland.com has lots of information. At least the bulk. Many site who have up to date information, are just relaying what is on the official site. Some site have good details, but boards like this are great for finding particular information. At least here you can ask and get replies about real world experience.

For schedules, look under the park tab on the main disneyland.com page. It updates and goes almost two month into the future. But it's good to check right before your trip because they do change things. Also note that at the bottom of those daily schedules is the attraction that are planned to be down for rehabs.

For Spring Break, check out this thread in the link below. Feel free to add you two cents to when your break is as well. Black out days are a mixed blessing. Sure it blocks a lot of people from coming, but the day is blacked out because it's very busy and the added AP holders would make it worse.

I don't know if your health problems were discusses in the other thread. When you visit go to guest services in either park and let them know you need a GAC card. They will ask about hot they can accomodate you. The card presented to CM's at attraction can help you avoid stairs, stand in the sun, stand for long periods, basically try to accomodate your medical needs.

You should try to see WoC, it requires a FP of sorts. It's free like other FPs but you can also get one as a package deals with meals. Below is the WoC superthread, The top post has lots of information.

As a rule of thumb, do not visit the week before nor the week after Easter. Believe me I know. For I made a huge error in timing, and paid for it. For I and a good guy friend went to visit the land the week of Easter. OMG! Never again!
