We'll be checking in to RP on Easter Sunday and would like to go out to eat that afternoon-- maybe 2 PM or so. There will be 5 adults and 2 DD's (13 and 15). Any special Easter dinners or brunches going on that day at any of the restaurants? We're not looking for "fancy", although a bit of atmosphere is always a plus. :thumbsup2 Otherwise we'd thought about giving Mythos a try....

I know the onsite hotels normally do stuff for major holidays. However, they don't post the menus online (or normally even mention it) until it is almost the next holiday that they have something special going on.

Also, don't expect the Universal's site to update for Easter. They might, but I doubt it. The best thing to do is to check the Loews Hotel website. They have all the menus for all three onsite hotels listed here. They also have an area for holiday menus, but right now it simply says to check back later. In Dec. it had the Christmas menu here, so it does get updated.

Also, if you don't see anything updated and you are about a week or two away, you can call the hotel and ask if they have anything planned. Normally these "Holiday event menus" can be expensive, so be sure to check on the price before going.

I appreciate the info, Badge. Wow, I'm so used to having to line up dining reservations months in advance for WDW, especially for holiday meals, so it feels a bit strange to wait until March. If we would decide to go to Emeril's, would it still be safe to wait with reservations until the end of March? Otherwise, I guess I'll just keep checking the Loew's website for more information on hotel dining options.

if you plan to have Easter dinner/food at one of the onsite hotels, or in citywalk or Mythos, do book a ressie in advance.

they usually fill up prior to that day.

there are some websites for orlando area.
check them out (google them) and see what specials, coupons you can come up with.

there were some threads from last year Easter time where peeps talked about the buffets at the hotels.
if you do a search, i'm sure they will come up.

if i have time, i'll look for them to help you.
