Easter Crowds???

How bad do you think the crowds will be? We will be there for
our springbreak March 15th-20th of 2008. Staying at our favorite resort
POFQ.

I've been the week before Easter. The closer you get to Easter, the more crowded it will get. I'd get the popular attractions out of the way at the beginning of your trip.

In 2005, they had EMH at MK every day at 7 a.m. for the two weeks around Easter. I think that was before they had evening EMH, so I'm not sure if they still do it. I'd say definitely get there early and use fast pass wisely--get a second fastpass before you get on your first fp ride.

You'll be there the week before Easter hits. We've been there at that time, the past two years and will be there again next year. Imagine a human traffic jam and that describes the parks, 3 hour waits for popular attractions, etc(last year we saw Soarin' with a 3.5 hour wait!). We're lucky even utilizing fast pass to get on 4 rides a day, fast pass for the most popular rides (ie Everest, Soarin', Test Track) are usually gone by lunch time, so sometimes you can use it, but once you have one, you have to wait until you can get another. We go mainly because we love the weather, it's beautiful. We go in knowing we're not going to see everything, so we're not disappointed.

I'd guess it will be EVEN WORSE NEXT YEAR than the previous poster described THIS year as being.. you've got Easter landing smack dab in the middle of spring break???

Look out. It will be CROWDED. I'd expect 9's and 10's on the crowd meter.

We went a few days before Easter to a few days after Easter back in 99. Now given they did not have fastpass at this time, but it was INSANE. 2+ hour waits for popular attractions. I think we waited 2 1/2 hours for splash moutain.

We were there the week leading up to Easter (flew home late on Easter afternoon) in 2005. It was packed in the parks, but we managed to do everything we wanted. By using FP and getting to the parks early, we were able to stay ahead of the crowds.

We'll be heading down again next Easter, March 19-30.
