April 21---Day 6
Heading back to Pop Century and Saying Goodbye
As we were walking out of Magic Kingdom for the day and for the last time this trip. I couldn't help but think about all the fun we had, from watching the boys faces as we first boarded the Magical Express bus and seeing the excitement in their eyes as they anxiously talked about all they wanted to do. Seeing how they reacted to riding Primeval Whirl in AK for the first time and then hearing them beg for just one more ride...please. Even sitting by the pool and watching them splash and play most afternoons after coming back from a busy morning at the parks. All the ups and downs in MK our first day, from getting stuck on BTMR to being completely drenched on Splash Mountain to finishing the day watching an awesome parade and beautiful fireworks. To finally being able to experience Soarin' and Test Track in Epcot and to start the next day with the fab five and a very yummy breakfast!! We found out that TSM did live up to all it's hype, and that boys do really love fast cars, and explosions from Lights, Motor Action (or at least mine do

)
Most importantly I learned that relaxing mornings at MK are the best!! It's definitely my goal to learn to slow down, and relax next trip and to try and take in as much as I can. So, like I said before it was a bittersweet morning. We didn't want to leave but another part of me couldn't wait to get home to sort through my pictures and hopefully start planning our next trip--and as all of you know that's one of the best parts of going to Disney!! All the research and planning to make the next trip even better than this one!!
So anyway after finally stepping on the bus, which was very empty by the way. I decided to take a picture of DH and DS.
DS asked if he could take a picture--
I tried to get some pictures while we were pulling into Pop but the darn balloons in the windows blocked my view!!
We had about an hour or so before it was time to board Magical Express back to the airport, so we decided to do a little more shopping... or actually DH decided to. We still had some money left on a Disney gift card so I left it up to him so I could take a few more pictures before we left.. DS6 decided to come with me.
Picture of the front of the arcade-
A couple pictures that are on the wall in the lobby--
DS was starting to get bored....
As you can tell....
I told him to wave goodbye..
We figured we should go back and find them since it was almost time to go. A few pictures in the gift shop-
As we were walking over to pick up our luggage,of course we had to stop and take a couple more pictures along the way--including the very big suitcases!!
We let the boys play with the hula hoops again, and then decided to go inside and wait since it was pretty warm out. I thought the waiting area/TV area for the kids was really great!! I'm glad we had a chance to check it out this trip!!
Unfortunately, before we knew it, it was time to board the bus back to the airport, waving a teary goodbye to Pop we stepped inside. Luckily, we had a great bus driver who talked the whole way back to the airport telling us little facts and tips about Disney. (now if I could just remember even one of those facts..

) I guess I was just so preoccupied with own my thoughts at the time.....
Before we knew it we were pulling back up to the airport and as we made our way over to security I began pulling out our licenses and boarding passes. I began to count to make sure we had everybody's. One, two, three....One, two three. Okay, I admit it.. I started freaking out!! We were missing DS6 boarding pass!! What? We did resort check-in at Pop and got all our paperwork hanging on our door that morning. DH had went through it all. So, I asked him if he noticed that one was missing. Oh, yeah he said, I told you about it. What...when? This morning but you didn't answer. So, then I probably didn't hear you, right? Oh...sorry. Now, I'm usually a pretty easy going person but the airport was crowded, the lines for security were very long, I didn't want miss our flight and it was something I could have easily fixed before we left the resort--if I had known...

So we turned back around and headed to the Jetblue counter to get a boarding pass for DS. When we finally made it up to explain the situation to someone. The lady looked at DS and said.. Oops..looks like you will have to stay here, now. Poor kid, he looked so worried, until the lady laughed and told him she was just kidding. Well...lesson was learned, with the stress of the morning packing and trying to hurry to get to MK for rope drop..things happen...hmmmm... So anyways we finally had all our boarding passes, made our way through security and found our gate. It was time...there was no avoiding it...as much as we all wanted to stay..it was time to go home......
We were sad to be leaving but so incredibly happy to be going home with such wonderful memories.... It was definitely a trip to remember....
Next up--What we accomplished and Final thoughts....
