Sunday -- walk
Monday -- strength training
Tuesday - off
Wednesday -- strength training class
Thursday -- LW for week which is 6 miles this week :woohoo:
Friday -- off
Saturday -- walk

Just checking in as I can't sleep for some unknown reason. I do feel like going to raid the snack closet, but I won't mainly because I am weighing in this morning. I went out sat night and country danced almost all evening so I'm sure I burned off the 3 light beers I drank. ;)
My exercise plan for this week is to walk this morning, hopefully 45 min, and walk 30-45 minutes after work, before I pick up my son on tues, wed, and thursday. Realisticly, I'll be happy to walk 3 days total. The week is supposed to be beautiful, so I will also try to get out and play with the boy after work and on our days off.

My exercise plan this week is to work out as much as I can for the next 3 days, then I'm headed to Disneyworld. I lifted weights this morning and will walk 2 hours today, walk and dance tomorrow and lift again on Wednesday.
I'm down 2 more pounds since the last time I checked in. Hooray!

Somehow in the last few weeks, life got away with me, but I have stayed on plan. Sorry I haven't been posting on the boards, but I have had a decent loss over the weeks, wish it was more, but I'm at 20.4/12. I'll try to be more diligent in the coming weeks.
 
I stayed the same this week. Initially I was a little disappointed, and then I remembered I did lose last week, and probably shouldn't have, so I'm happy with not gaining this week. I got a 30 min walk in and this afternoon took my son and nephew to the park and did some good climbing and playing with them. My nephew is only 18 months, so I had to stick with him, couldn't sit on the bench. I'm on track with the eating too, and hoping spring fever will boost the weight loss.

Spring Break so I'm going to all the cool cardio and yoga classes that are in the mornings while I'm usually at school... :cool2:

Lost 3.4 lbs this week... total for the challenge now 46/20
 
hey girls -- what a GORGEOUS day it is here in OH - IO :hippie: sunny and 63, i have a couple windows up for fresh air! the sun makes it feel warmer than 63, more like 70! :woohoo:

just home but wanted to come and read the inspiration and i found it!

tomorrow is my WI day, i feel like i'm starting to lose finally, i didn't WI last week so we'll see what tomorrow brings! off to gulp a glass of H2O :dance3:
 
Didn't check in last week, but my work schedule's changed and my new weigh in day will be Sunday instead of thursday because now i don't have off until friday and i refuse to step on a scale at 5am b4 i head into work. unfortunately, this also means that my exercise schedule has to change as well. Just when i was really enjoying the routine.

Anyhow count me down .5 lb for the week. And i cheated so bad last weekend i really have no idea how that happened. But i know why i cheated. I had the blahs and following my plan didn't make me. So i took a couple days off and now I'm mostly back. Probably and AF precipitator, it happens sometimes but not usually so far in advance.

PLan for this week:

MOnday-Thursday: 7 hrs walking(cardio?) (work at Target means walking all day plus light lifting)
Friday: Stability ball workout(core & strength)
Sat: 7 hrs walking (closing at Target)

Congrats to all the losers this week. :cheer2:
 
morning all :) another beautiful day here for me -- well it's a little rainy but i'll take that over snow! high of 70 again today and back to normal 50s tomorrow. today is housecleaning day! :upsidedow haven't had one of those in a while

i did WI today and i'm holding steady at my starting weight. i was a little disappointed b/c i have been really watching how much bread/carbs i've been eating and upping my protein. i will say my clothes are easing a little so i must be building muscle!:cool2:

dene -- you have lost 46 pounds!! i think calls for a picture!! how fabulous! how many sizes have you dropped? are people like WOWing you??? they ought to be!!

maureen -- i see you have a question mark by cardio during your work time. i would have no clue what you day entails and i'm sure some are busier than others, but i would think the only way to know for sure is to wear a heart rate monitor and see if your HR does get up in your target zone and stay for a few minutes at a time. there is no doubt you are burning calories.....but i would hate for you to cut short your cardiac system it's true aerobic workout!

mikamah -- you are sounding right on track, that scale must cooperate!
 
I'm back down a pound (miraculously), putting me at +1/9 for the challenge.
 
It has been absolutely beautiful here in MA as well. It was 72 when I got out of work today:cool1: I walked after work yesterday for 30 min, and today for 45. I am also pretty on track with eating. I made chili last night which is low point and very filling, so haven't hit the snacks. I've been having the diet hot cocoa at work when I want to eat the junk food there. I'm planning to keep up the exercise, even though the weather is not going to stay so nice. I've been walking around a pond at an industrial park and one day it was so cold, that I went into the building to warm up, and it's a huge building, so I figure I could walk up and down it in inclement weather. Now I have no excuse.

April- great job!!! You can do it!!!!

Molli- Great job on the exercise. It sounds like you are definitely building muscle, and hopefully that darn scale will start moving soon. Keep up the great work. It is dissappointing to expect a loss and not have it. The key is to stick with it and you will see a loss, hopefully next week. (at least that's what I keep telling myself.) Thank you for the inspiration and motivation to get moving. It feel so good to be exercising.

Great job Octoberbride on the loss. Good luck with your new schedule.

I am down another pound!!! I am now over the 1/2 way point!
It is Spring Break, so I have not been doing so good on my exercise, but I have done pretty well with my eating.

Our group is really doing great! I can not wait to see how good we all look on Easter!!
 
Hi all, hope everyone is doing well this week. I have been MIA a lot lately due to work commitments and visiting inlaws, wish I had time to read the updates, but I simply can't, but did want to check in. Last week I gained .4 and this week I lost .2 so for this challenge I am now at 3.6/6. Maybe one of these days I will get my acti n gear instead of gaining and losing the same pound.

Hi all. Hope everybody's having a better week than I am. Drs appointments are the order of the week. I'm weighing in today since i have a busy weekend ahead of me plus weight gain from AF which is due this weekend hasn't kicked in yet. So I'm weighing in at at a loss of 2lbs this week which should put me at just 2 to go for my goal.

My new Dr wants me to up my DVD to 4 times weekly so I'm going to work on getting that done. We'll see how quick I can go from 2-4.

OHmom: The question mark is really more of a self reference than anything else. I doubt i reach a very high heart rate the way i do when i use my dvd but I walk for so long during the day that it has to be doing something for my heart. And i know if somebody asked me to walk a 10k tomorrow I could do it in an easy time frame and beat some of the runners. I'm off on fridays now, but closing this weekend so there's more walking in store yet.

Right now I'm fasting till i get some bloodwork done this afternoon and then I'll be able to eat. With luck my cholesterol will be in the normal ranges. I'll find out next week.

We are having a bit of snow here, in fact after school activities have all been cancelled, but I knew I had another loss this week so I had to brave the weather and weigh in. I lost another 2.8 pounds this week for a total or 7.8 pounds this week bringing my total to 23.2/12. I'm really trying hard and it is paying off. Thanks everyone for all your support.
 
HI!

Well I'm happy to say I lost 1 lb this week. So I'm out of the green, again! I'm afraid to celebrate though and then next week go back in the green again :confused3 But so for now my total is .6/12

And I've been exercising. I raked leaves for 1 hour on Tuesday and 2 hours on Wed. I did squats and triceps with 5lb weights on Tue and Thur. I want to get back on my elliptical this weekend and Mon too. I was up to 45 mins and I don't want to lose my momentum. But, my DD's have been sick and my 2 year old just wants to sit in my lap all day.

Congratulations to everyone! Denecarter and Lorli your totals are very impressive for this challenge!
