I weigh in on Sundays so I missed posting in the thread for last week. I lost three pounds this week. Hopefully I can do three more for next Sunday!
 
Another 2.4 lost so that puts me at 9.8/12. Looks like many of us are going to reach our goals.
 
We are back from a week on the Magic and I am up 1 from where I started. Not great, but I am OK with it considering all the junk I ate this week!!!!

Back on Track tomorrow!!
 

I'll be weighing in tomorrow. There should be a lose, just one bad day (yesterday):(

sap1227...1lb gain after a week of Disney would be a blessing for me. Great job and not gaining more.:cheer2:

morning all -- how did everyone survive Super Bowl?

i made the WW layered mexican dip and it was YUM-O! i also made the spinach 'triangle' but i had some phyllo tart cups in my freezer so i just filled those. it was also very good. I had baked chips and a veggie tray. i avoided dessert. all in all i still ate too much portion-wise; but i felt good that i had healthier options. now for the exercise, well i blew that off last weekend. so i'm off to do my 5 mile WATP -- my DDs have no school today b/c of windchills

sap -- how's the Magic? were you East or West? i'm sure it was a fabulous time! and you will get that fluff off just like that!

well gang --let's keep the journaling going. which means i'll have to plug in my recipes to sparkpeople b/c i have leftovers.

so for this week should we just continue the journaling challenge or are we ready to add-on?
 
I have finally lost one pound :banana: Now I am reenergized to keep up the effort for this week. I have, regretably, not been keeping up with the journaling like I should. I have actually been using my journal to plan our WDW vacation for August. At least it getting some writing time :rotfl:
 
Whoo Hoo! I'm down 1.6 pounds (FINALLY!)

I also went to the gym this morning for 60 minutes of jogging in the pool. I tell you it was the longest mile and a bit for me today, I have no idea what's wrong with me today. I had heartburn and that didn't help but I had lead legs this morning but I pushed through it. :)

I'm going to dig out my yoga DVD this afternoon/evening and do that for a little while. I need to stretch, I'm all stiff today.
 
Hi everyone! I'm hoping to lose 20lbs by Easter and can use all the help I can get! I'm doing WW on my own right now but I'm going to officially join to help me stay accountable.
 
Hi everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. I've been pretty good and have kept up my journalling. I didn't get any walking in like I'd hoped, but will try again tomorrow. I'm definitely a fair weather exerciser. I just can't get motivated to do any exercise at home, videos, etc. I will walk tomorrow if the wind isn't a wild as it was today. That is my goal for this week.

Congrats to you losers-denecarter, o2bacelt, shellynn24,lorli, and crs7568!! You are very inspiring.

sap1227- Only one pound after all the food on a cruise is pretty awesome. Welcome back. That will be gone in no time.

Welcome Tinkamom. This is a great place for support and motivation. I also do Weight watchers, and need the accountability of weighing in to keep on track. Good luck.:cheer2:

Ohmom- Great job on the healthy choices for superbowl sunday. And the walking. You are an inspiration to me. One day soon I will be exercising too!!

I am happy because I did so bad this week! But now I am determined to do well!!!!!!!! Wish me luck!:cutie:

updated first post again

i have to come back later i'm really down on myself, i'm back up the 2 lbs i lost last week. i can feel it laying on my middle so i'm not shocked or anything just frustrated and down on myself. i usually don't stay in a funk this long and i know if i do the right things i will lose. why do i keep chosing wrong? back to the journal today............one day at a time
 
I'm down 0.5 this week, for a total of 5/15.

Hoping to pick up the pace with the weight loss starting now. I'm actually not too disappointed with the 0.5, considering I celebrated 3 different birthdays in the past 1 1/2 weeks (and ate cake - sometimes several pieces - each time). It is also TOM. I am exercising really hard, though.

Keep at it, everyone! It can be done!
 
Ohmom, I'm sorry you are having a hard time this week. I've been having such a down week, I didn't want to come and post here. I felt so ashamed, but...

I was away at Disney last week and so I gained 3.4. But today I weighed in and was down 1.8lbs of it. So far so good. 1/2 way. Why is it you can gain 3+lbs in one week but never lose that much? Well not me anyway.

So my new total: .2 + 3.4= 3.6 - 1.8= +1.8/12 (looong sigh)
Good luck everyone else. I'm very inspired by reading how well you are all doing! Especially about the exercise. I'm trying to be an everyday exerciser.
 
Ohmom- Hang in there. Try not to be down on yourself for being human and living life. You are so inspiring to all of us and motivating us all with this thread, and cheering us all on. You can do this. I know where you're coming from, with the ups and downs, but don't give up, and the downs will win!!! I look at this as a lifestyle now, and hope to have a net loss every few months. I am probably on program 60%of the time, and though the weight loss is pretty slow, I am not going to gain it all back plus like I've done in the past. I might never hit my weight watchers goal range, but I'm definitely much healthier than I was 2 years ago. Hang tough girl!! We're rooting for you. You can do it!!!!:cheer2:

Hey Fofinia- congratulations to you on the loss!!!!:thumbsup2 That's more than half your vacation weight!!! Maybe it will be all gone next week. It is amazing how easy it is to gain and how slow it comes back off. It took me a month to get rid of a week of holiday weight. Keep up the great work!!

cmsnyder77-Congrats on your loss!! Exercise really can help burn those extra calories. I wish I had more motivation to do it. Great work!!

I had a crazy day at work with a real sick patient and never had a chance to eat anything til 2:30 when we sent her into boston, sooooo I am on track today, and am hoping for a good weighin tomorrow.
