well i feel maybe like i owe this group an apology -- life has really gotten busy hectic the last month or so and then any DIS time i have i just can't help myself but hit the cruise board :teeth: I know everyone understands and LIFE must come before DIS :rolleyes: but i just wanted to acknowledge it -- say it outloud and let everyone know that this group remained in my thoughts even though the time wasn't available :grouphug:

anyhoo -- how is everyone? our final week can you believe it! i can't! i have enjoyed this group immensely and i'm sooooo excited for everyone that was able to lost anything -- we have a broad range of just a couple to half way, to goal to over goal to far exceeding goal and it's EGGCITING!! (pardon that cheesy joke :rotfl: )

today i'm heading out for my last 'big' walk before my 1/2 marathon April 14, each one i register for I think how great it would be to get to my goal weight and do the distance without this last 8-10 lbs hanging on my gut. isn't happening this go-round. guess i'll have to try again :thumbsup2

Mom is on a mission trip in Mexico until Wednesday, hopefully we'll hear from her later this our last week! just can't believe it!!

how are you?? how did this challenge make you a healthier you??
 
Molly--thanks for doing all of the work for this challenge!

Although I will not make my goal, I am very pleased with the weight I have loss and the habits I have restarted because of it!! If I can keep it up, hopefully by next Easter I will be at my goal!!

As a group we have lost a lot of weight! I can not wait to see our final total!!!
 

What a wonderful challenge! I look forward to it each week. Well, I am ending the challenge with a total of 16/20 - down 1 lb from last week. I am looking forward to the next long term challenge!

:wave: Molli! We all know about life so no apologies are necessary. Thanks for all of your hard work keeping this challenge going. I know I won't make my challenge pledge, but I am hoping to at least make it to 2/3 of the way....will see on Thursday. Until then I hope everyone has a great week!
 
Hey everyone,

I'm sorry I've been MIA. I did good for a little bit and then lost control when DH went on a military trip for 3.5 weeks and then he has been working nights since he has been back. This is his last week of nights and then he goes away for another 1.5 weeks.

But - I'm here to confess and get back on track. I'm not even going to say what I've gained since I went off track. Why oh why does it come on so quick but come off so slow.

So, tomorrow I'm going to WW's because as usual I think I can do it without the meetings, but I can't.

Today I've been on track, so one day down. I'm a little nervous about Easter, but I have to take it one day at a time.

Well I am only down .5 this week for a total of 13.5 lost. I am short of my goal, but that is okay.....I am going to get more focused and make the next 12 weeks even better!!!! I am setting some short term goals and hoping that helps me. Right now my biggest obstacle is working out....I am so lazy! Well, not really, I just am not making time and need to.

Hey Molli, You have been an inspiration to us all, and I'm very grateful I found this challenge. We all know how life gets in the way. I wish I had more time to be on the Dis than I do. I aimed high for 12 pounds, and am pushing for 5 now, but I didn't gain so I'm happy. I also started walking thanks to your encouragement and I think this is my 5th week walking at least 3 times a week. So thank you for starting this challenge, and I'll see you later in the week.

awww...shucks. thanks guys and i'm really glad this challenge has brought sooo many of us to a better healthier mindset, routine, and goals. and the company hasn't been all too bad either :thumbsup2 actually i have enjoyed each one of you and look forward to continuing into the summer :hug:

mikamah -- that is AWESOME that you have made a walking routine a habit! i'm honored to have inspired that, but you had it in you all along!:cool1: doesn't it just feel GOOD??!!

melanieC - :hug: :hug: :hug: i didn't make my cruise date goal either, in fact i'm struggling right now to feel like i'm still maintaining. AF has brought me big bloat this week and it feels awful. that and i'm struggling with sugar cravings which adds to more bloat. but we are talking about you. i'm glad to see you back with us, we can rally together when i get home in May and really give each other some tough love to get to goal!

debbie -- you have been a huge inspiration to me during this challenge. i'm rooting for your last WI tonight :wizard:

I haven't checked in for a while. I only lost 5 lbs. out of my goal of 12. Alot of people did really well on this challenge! At least everyone lost something. Congrats. Thanks Molly for keeping up with the posts.
 
Hi All!

I'm down .6 this week making my total 2.2/12. I knew I set an ambitious goal, but what the hey? I learned I have patterns to my weight loss. I lose, maintain, lose, gain, lose. Then start all over again.

I've decided to start training for a Disney 5K and the 1/2 marathon. So I know I will be doing more exercising. Hopefully it will help me lose weight too.

Thanks Molli for being here every week and being such a support. Especially while we were on the "Green Team".

I've appreciated everyone here so much. Has made the last 12 weeks fly!!!!!!!!!

Thank you Molli! I guess your routing and a gastrointestinal virus worked because I lost a record 2.6 this week which puts me at 6.4/6 for the challenge and helps me to reach GOAL! I can hardly believe it myself and am not as excited if I had done it without being sick, but I can say I made it and I am there. Now if I can make it through WDW this week without gaining it all back I will be in good shape.
 
I stayed at the 5lb loss this week. The 10lb was a stretch since I can't seem to ever get that last 5 gone. I get to this point, get frustrated...gain some back, lose some, gain some, lose some....you get the picture. Just glad to see I'm not the only one in this boat.

I did pull out some old measurements I did sometime last year. I am down 8in on my body, 1.5in in the waist.:banana: Hopefully that will keep me going.

Tiggerlover..Congrats on reaching goal. Enjoy your trip.
 
Final weigh in down another 1.6 pounds. Thanks for hosting this challenge.
 
My final weighin for this challenge- up .6, so ending with 3 lost out of 12. That's sticking with my recent one pound loss per month. At least I didn't gain over all, and I have started exercising, so hopefully I'll be able to lose a little more before summer.

good morning!!

i have updated our list and will wait out today to see if there are any more WI reported. I will post a total weight lost tonight!

CONGRATS to Debbie for reaching her :wishgoal and to everyone else who make positive changes in their lifestyle which may or may not have resulted in trimming down, but better yet a long-term effect of getting healthier!!

it was a pleasure to host this challenge, this is an AWESOME bunch!! :grouphug:
 
Sorry I haven't posted. Been busy and had odd days off the past couple of weeks. Anyhow, I'm down to 253 which puts me at 1lb more than my goal weight for a total loss of 11 lbs. I'm thrilled I made it, Just haven't been eating as well for the past week or so. Hope everyone has a great Easter:banana:
