Easter Candy at Disney? Bringing in luggage?

I was wondering if anyone who is there now, or just got back can tell me if they saw any Easter candy, treats or plush for sale. We are trying to decide where we are going to get items for DD basket while there. I thought maybe at Goofy's Candy Shoppe in DD might? Anyone know?

I was also wondering if anyone has ever brought candy, specifically chocolate, in the luggage. Checked or Carry on? Was it ok or did it melt?

Just arrived at SSR... I saw bunny head shaped and pastel iced/coated rice crispy treats down in the artists pallette/food court area. And of course the Mouse ear/easter egg ins are on the sales displays...

Just got here this evening...havent been to DTD yet though.

Thank you! What are these: Mouse ear/easter egg? We were down for Easter about five years ago and do not remember seeing anything for Easter anywhere. I remember being surprised. It will be nice if things have changed!

We have been many years over Easter and it seems there are always Easter items to buy. In addition usually a few days before the gift shops in the resorts set out tables with premade Easter baskets.

I usually bring stuff from home but you would not have any trouble gathering items at Disney ... might be rather expensive though.
