We are going to Disney May 5th... I was thinking that we'd have the Easter bunny "bring" us our trip- but not sure how to present it - any ideas?

I want to do a count down, too... some sort of chain or something fun- might be able to incorporate that into the Easter gift from the EB somehow?

thanks!!

Look on the just for fun, Disigns forum. You can request beautiful surprise letters from their favorite characters. The designers can also do shirt designs that you can make. Get a stuffed Mickey for the kids, an autograph book each, with the letter in a basket. So much fun!

Have fun

A simple but awesome way would be to hide the Easter eggs and have clues with each egg and find a box/basket with all things Disney:)

Just a thought, but if the Easter bunny brings your kids a Disney trip, are they going to expect something like that every year? Will you be able to keep up?

If you would be concerned about that you could have things they would need for the trip in their baskets, like swimsuits, t-shirts, etc. Things you might buy for the trip anyway. And then tell the kids "Oh, the Easter Bunny knows my secret! We're going to WDW" That way it's a trip from you, but the baskets from the bunny.

VERY good point :) I like that idea - will need to talk it over with DH and come up with a final plan - thanks!!!!

I agree - that's a pretty big Easter Bunny gift.

It may be better to just let the Easter Bunny theme be Disney and then act like he spilled the beans on your big secret!

This is a good idea. Give them a scavenger hunt, each clue (small gift) leads them to another clue. Maybe each one can get bigger and it can end with you giving them the biggest gift.

I so wish my daughter was still young enough to do these things with. I miss those days.:sad1:

I'm sort of in the same boat. For me it's Santa who is "giving" our trip in part. What I'm doing is having a large box that's from Santa AND me. This box will give him Disney stuff along with some type of countdown. I'm doing it this way because I'm planning on keeping Christmas smaller than usual because of the trip. This way DS won't wonder why Santa didn't do as much as previous years but I'm hoping he won't expect something like this again because it's from me too and not just Santa. Hopefully this is a good plan. Christmas is usually very big in our house so I will have to have a reason for it being smaller. I have a feeling DS won't mind at all though! So maybe the Easter bunny and you could bring the trip??! Either way... What a great surprise!!

We did this with puzzle pieces in eggs, except it was from mom and dad, not the bunny. Their baskets from bunny had things iin it for the trip. We left the wed after easter it was GREAT!!!!!!!
